Arsenal vs Man Utd talkSPORT tips – Best football bets and expert advice
The highlight of Sunday’s Premier League action is the 4.30pm kick-off at the Emirates Stadium as leaders Arsenal host a revitalised Manchester United, with the game live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.
The Gunners went into the weekend seven points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table and on a 12-match unbeaten run in all competitions after Tuesday’s 3-1 Champions League win at Inter.
United moved up to fifth in the table with last Saturday’s 2-0 home win over their neighbours in the Manchester derby as Michael Carrick made a spectacular start to his time as interim manager.
Our three best bets for Sunday’s Premier League clash are below.

Gunners should stay strong at home
Arsenal began the season that they hope will end with them winning their first Premier League title for 22 years with a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford in August, but Sunday’s return match in London promises to be more lively.
The Gunners are riding the crest of a wave with their big lead in the league standings and their perfect record of seven wins from seven Champions League games.
They have won five and drawn one of their last six league encounters with the Red Devils, but they can expect a more spirited effort from the visitors this time.
United looked a vastly improved team in their win against City and the counter-attacking threat they offered in that match could see them enjoying some success at the Emirates too.
Arsenal had won seven home league games in a row before being held to a goalless draw by Liverpool.
Their performances in four successive away games since then suggest they should prove too strong for United and they have scored three or more goals in five of their last seven games.
Both teams have scored in seven of Arsenal’s last nine matches and a more dangerous United team can also get on the scoresheet in a losing effort.
Gyokeres finding his feet at Arsenal
Those who wrote off Arsenal’s summer signing Viktor Gyokeres may be having to reconsider their opinions after an impressive spell for the Swedish striker.
Gyokeres had a goal and an assist in the Gunners’ 3-2 EFL Cup win at Chelsea and then blasted home a superb third goal for his side in the midweek Champions League win at Inter Milan.
He should get the nod to start up front ahead of Gabriel Jesus, who played the first 75 minutes at the San Siro, and he will pose a threat to United with his confidence rising.
Gyokeres is a streaky striker who scored in the first nine games of last season with Sporting and had two other spells of scoring in six successive matches and now he has hit form he could stay hot.
Timber could be on target
Arsenal pose threats from all over the field and wing-back Jurrien Timber loves to get forward as well as being a threat at set-pieces.
He is worth an interest at a decent price to have a shot on target against United, whichever flank he operates on.
He has scored three goals this season, including one against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, and averages more than one shot per game in the Premier League.
