64-cap England star could get shock recall and Jude Bellingham set for squad inclusion despite injury
Thomas Tuchel is ready to call up Jude Bellingham for England’s March internationals despite not playing since February 1.
talkSPORT understands Tuchel ideally wants Bellingham to be part of the camp for the upcoming friendlies with Japan and Uruguay.

And he is looking set to be selected even if his game time is likely to be limited following a hamstring injury lay-off.
The 22-year-old hasn’t played a game since leaving the pitch in tears during Real Madrid’s clash with Rayo Vallecano.
His injury was picked up at the start of February meaning it will be almost two months since he last featured in a game when England take on Uruguay on March 27 if he doesn’t return to play for Real against bitter rivals Atletico this weekend.
Bellingham had also suffered a serious shoulder injury before his hamstring issues, with him having to undergo surgery.
So, he’s certainly had a rough time with his fitness, but Tuchel’s willingness to include him in the final squad before World Cup selection shows he’s likely to be going to North America.
As well as Bellingham, Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is also under consideration for a Three Lions recall this week.
Maguire has 64 England caps to his name, but he hasn’t been called up to the national squad since Tuchel’s appointment and hasn’t played a game for his country since September 2024.
However, his upturn in form for Man United has seen him return to contention ahead of the World Cup this summer.
Speaking to talkSPORT in February, Tuchel said that he was ‘in the picture’ for a call-up and it now seems it could be coming.
Maguire has 12 appearances for England at World Cups, with his presence sure to be a boost should he travel this summer.

Meanwhile, Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall is almost certain to be included.
Tuchel also has a big decision to make in terms of a back-up striker to Harry Kane, with Ollie Watkins out of form.
Sources have indicated that Leeds’ Dominic Calvert-Lewin is one potential option.
