WWE star gives fans health update following major surgery

Absent from WWE televised programming since Aug. 2025, Chelsea Green’s partner Piper Niven has now shared a major health update. Niven has been out of action since last year with a career-threatening neck injury.

On Wednesday, May. 13, 2026, Niven announced undergoing an anterior discectomy surgery. As per Sports Illustrated, “an anterior discectomy is a surgical procedure performed to help alleviate pain caused by pinched nerves, herniated discs, or spinal cord compression.”

“I went to California and all I got was this lousy anterior discectomy. I have so much I want to say about the past 8 months but we can get to that later. For now, I just want to express my endless love and gratitude for every single soul that has helped me and cared for me during this difficult and really scary time,” Niven wrote.

“Pain and heartbreak are incredible teachers and the lessons I have learned from this will stay with me forever. I am so grateful to wake up from surgery already feeling better and I know I am coming out the other side of this so much stronger for the experience.” Niven finished.

While Piper Niven recovers from her injury, her partner, Chelsea Green, also underwent an SVT heart procedure, following which she broke her silence on it. “I’m feeling good. My wounds are healing, my heart feels heavy, and my breathing is interesting, but we’re on the men,” Green shared.

With both Green and Niven out with their injuries and health scares, things are not going well for The Secret Hervice in WWE. Amid Green and Niven’s absence, their other partner, Alba Fyre, has now been released by WWE.
