WWE make huge on-air blunder in major Royal Rumble leak ahead of Saudi event

Spoiler alert, wrestling fans.

WWE may have accidentally leaked who will be the first entrant in this year’s men’s Royal Rumble.

Bron Breakker’s efforts to win a first Royal Rumble won’t come easy

During Axiom’s entrance ahead of his singles match against Johnny Gargano on Friday’s WWE SmackDown, a graphic flashed up on the bottom of the screen.

Surprisingly, it was not a graphic for Axiom.

Instead, it was one for Saturday’s men’s Royal Rumble.

And on that graphic was Bron Breakker’s name, along with ‘Entrant #1.’

Unfortunately for Breakker, that means he must outlast 29 rivals to win the Royal Rumble and subsequently earn a shot at a world title of his choosing at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Winning the Royal Rumble from the start is a Herculean task, evident by the fact only five men and one woman have accomplished the ironman-like feat.

Shawn Michaels was the first to successfully go the distance in 1995, with Vince McMahon (1999), Chris Benoit (2004), Rey Mysterio (2006) and Edge (2021) the only others to have managed it.

Rhea Ripley stands alone as the sole female to have outlasted all her foes, which she accomplished in 2023.

Breakker, should the graphic prove true, will now look to join that exclusive club.

Should he do that, he will be able to go for either the World Heavyweight Championship, held by CM Punk, or the Undisputed WWE Championship, held by Drew McIntyre.

However, McIntyre may end the weekend without the title as he puts it on the line at the Royal Rumble against Sami Zayn in a singles match.

Breakker, who is aligned with legendary manager Paul Heyman, has competed in two Royal Rumbles to date.

His Royal Rumble debut came in 2024 although it lasted just over five minutes.

Breakker was far more of a threat in 2025 at #7 in the order and was in the ring for 22 minutes before he was sent over the top rope and to the floor by Roman Reigns.

Time will tell whether Breakker, who was once on the books of NFL franchise Baltimore Ravens, is the last man standing.

There’s also the chance WWE change up the order amid the supposed leak.
