Wolves vs Liverpool predictions and betting tips – Reds resume top-five tilt
Liverpool have found form again and they have a top-five finish in their sights. Arne Slot’s side will expect to come out on top once more when they head to Molineux Stadium in midweek.
However, Wolves were triumphant last time out and this is a free hit for Rob Edwards’s team. Can they get something?

Wolves vs Liverpool predictions
Four into three does not go, so one of Manchester United, Aston Villa, Liverpool or Chelsea is destined to end the season disappointed.
With Arsenal and Manchester City on course to finish in the top two in an undecided order, there are three remaining Champions League qualification berths up for grabs in the Premier League.
For a long time it looked like Aston Villa would claim one of them. There was even talk of a possible title tilt by Unai Emery’s men.
However, Villa’s results have been patchy at best of late, and a 2-0 defeat by Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend paved the way for them being overtaken by Manchester United.
United are the in-form team in the division over the last eight rounds of games, with Michael Carrick having done a wonderful job to turn things around at Old Trafford.
Liverpool cannot match the record of their arch-rivals over the last few weeks, but they are on the up too.
Four of their last five matches have ended with the Reds victorious, including each of the last three. This is Liverpool’s best spell since they began the campaign with a five-game winning streak.
Plenty has changed since then. In the autumn, Liverpool lost six games out of seven in the Premier League as Arne Slot’s job came under threat.
But although they are not yet back to the level they reached last term, Liverpool are at least showing signs of life and giving their supporters cause for optimism.
Their most recent success came against West Ham United. It was not a perfect display from Slot’s team, but a 5-2 victory was emphatic after back-to-back 1-0 triumphs over Sunderland and Nottingham Forest.
Indeed, it was only the second time since the middle of December that Liverpool had won a league match by more than a one-goal margin.
“We have had momentum but if you have a run of games like we had, so many losses in a row, you fall back a lot,” Slot said after the defeat of West Ham, a result which moved Liverpool just three points off third place.
“Now for a long time it is very hard to beat us. We are improving, that is obvious. In open play, but also set-pieces and we are getting more results.”
Wolves vs Liverpool betting tips
Bottom-of-the-table Wolves host Liverpool in the midweek round of Premier League fixtures.
Away win plus goals
Wolves fans have had little to celebrate this season, so their ecstatic response to only a second home win of the season on Friday night was understandable.
That 2-0 defeat of Aston Villa moved Wolves past Derby County’s record-low Premier League points tally of 11. It also harmed their West Midlands rivals’s pursuit of Champions League football, to the benefit of Liverpool among others.
Wolves are unlikely to triumph on Tuesday, but they will see this match as a free hit -and that potentially makes them dangerous.
Liverpool should win as long as they do not underestimate their opponents. After their five-goal showing against West Ham, this is unlikely to be a low-scoring affair.

Wolves can find net
Wolves have nothing to lose from here.
There is no question they will be playing in the Championship next season, but they will still want to end this campaign as well as possible.
Wolves have improved in recent weeks. As well as that 2-0 victory over Aston Villa, they recently held Arsenal to a 2-2 draw.
Wolves also found the back of the net when Chelsea visited Molineux last month, meaning they have scored in three consecutive home matches.
A clean sheet will probably be beyond Liverpool here, so go for goals at both ends for your second wager.

Ekitike to strike again
Hugo Ekitike was back on the scoresheet at the weekend as Liverpool thumped West Ham United.
It was his 16th goal in all competitions in what has been an excellent debut campaign for the Reds.
Whereas Florian Wirtz had a slow start and Alexander Isak has been out injured for months, Ekitike has been Liverpool’s most successful summer signing.
The France international should have plenty of joy against the Premier League’s third-leakiest defence on Tuesday.
