Why Premier League Darts Night 8 is starting at an earlier time this week
Darts fans may get caught out this Thursday evening as Night 8 of the Premier League gets started earlier than usual.
Usually, each night of the competition begins at 7pm in the UK, with the quarter-finals kicking things off every week.

However, as Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and co. travel to Berlin in Germany on Thursday, the schedule has been changed.
The action this week will be starting at 6pm…
Why is Premier League Darts Night 8 starting an hour earlier?
Premier League Darts Night 8 will get going an hour earlier than usual due to it being hosted in Europe.
Germany and Berlin are one hour ahead of the UK, so the matches will begin at 7pm local time and 6pm in the UK.
And the PDC have kept that local start time the same as when played in the UK to prevent a very late finish to the event.
This was the same for Night 2 of the Premier League, with that being the only other night held in Europe so far this campaign.
That event was held in Antwerp, Belgium, which is also one hour ahead of the UK.
Last year, the Premier League night hosted in Berlin was also given a 6pm start time in the UK.
Stephen Bunting won that night by beating Gerwyn Price 6-5 in the final after knocking out Nathan Aspinall and Humphries.
Littler was knocked out in the quarter-finals by Chris Dobey.
