Welcome to Wrexham season 5 has been announced – watch for less with this Disney Plus offer

Disney+ has officially confirmed that Welcome to Wrexham is back, bringing with it the highs and lows of EFL Championship football.

The beloved documentary series will return for a highly anticipated fifth season, and you can secure a deal to watch it all on Disney+ for just £3.99 a month for the first three months.

Disney+ subscription plans have been slashed until 6 May, so fans of the show can binge-watch all of Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds‘ efforts as they navigate club ownership.

The series premieres on Friday, 15 May, with the first two episodes ready to watch immediately.

From there, a new episode of the eight-episode season will stream weekly.

Season five chronicles Wrexham‘s quest for yet another promotion on the heels of three consecutive successful campaigns.

Covering the team’s ongoing progress in the EFL Championship, the continued growth of the women’s team, and the introduction of new players, the new series will undoubtedly feature twists and turns, given Wrexham’s current league standing.

At the time of writing, The Red Dragons sit in sixth place, with the race for the play-off spots going down to the wire on the final day of the season.

With a sixth-place play-off finish guaranteed if Wrexham better Hull City‘s result and match or better Derby County‘s result, it is truly all to play for.

The team have already made history by being promoted three times in a row, and with the prospect of Premier League promotion looming, this could be their most spectacular campaign yet.
