Wayne Rooney names one thing Roy Keane has that makes him the perfect next Tottenham manager
Tottenham Hotspur need a manager who is going to ‘batter them’, according to Wayne Rooney.
The Manchester United legend has even tipped Roy Keane to potentially take the role.

Spurs are currently on an 11-match winless run in the Premier League which has plunged them into the relegation battle.
Meanwhile, current boss Igor Tudor has lost all four of his matches since replacing Thomas Frank last month.
His side currently sit just a point above the relegation zone with nine matches remaining, starting with Sunday’s trip to Liverpool.
It leaves them at risk of dropping out of the top-flight for the first time in 49 years.
They were also beaten 5-2 by Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Spurs need someone to ‘batter’ players
Although Tudor remains in charge, Rooney believes a personality like Keane’s is needed in the dressing room.
The former United captain would put ‘some fear’ into the players amid their ongoing relegation battle, says his ex-team-mate.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Stick to Football podcast, Rooney explained: “Those players need to look at themselves, I think they have been an absolute disgrace, I do.
“The performances, the attitude, the lack of desire, the lack of fight, the lack of anything in them.
“I was watching the Crystal Palace game the other day and I really felt sorry for Tottenham fans, they are not even angry anymore. They are disappointed and sad.

“Them players need to look at themselves, this is a disgrace.
“I think they need someone to go in, like Roy, and batter them. They need some fear put into them.”
Keane garnered a hardman reputation during his playing days having received 12 red cards across his club and international careers.
Meanwhile, he has since managed both Sunderland and Ipswich Town, but has not taken charge of a club since leaving the latter 15 years ago.
His most recent coaching role saw him serve as Martin O’Neill’s assistant at Nottingham Forest in 2019.
Tudor’s current Spurs deal runs until the end of the season.

However, it appears to be a question of when rather than if Tudor will be relieved of his duties early.
talkSPORT’s Jamie O’Hara once again called for him to be sacked following their heavy defeat to Atletico.
It came after Spurs fans had begged Mauricio Pochettino to return to the club after a chance encounter on a flight to the match in Spain.
Sean Dyche has even been tipped for the role by Darren Bent in the event that Tudor is replaced.
