Vikings' Adams has torn right quadriceps tendon
The Minnesota Vikings on Monday placed veteran defender Jamal Adams on season-ending injured reserve due to a torn right quadriceps tendon that he suffered Saturday in the Vikings' 13-10 preseason win over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.
