Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest predictions

Tottenham host Nottingham Forest in a highly-charged, hugely important match in the scrap for Premier League survival.

Spurs are in 16th and just a point above 17th placed Forest. Victory would mean more than just the three points.

The winner would get a huge psychological boost for the remainder of the season, condemning the other to the real possibility of relegation.

In the reverse fixture, Forest thrashed Spurs 3-0 at the City Ground in December. A repeat of that result is a chunky at 28/1 with 10bet.

Both clubs played in Europe this week, Spurs valiantly bowed out of the Champions League after a 7-5 aggregate loss. Their 3-2 home win on Wednesday showed the heart and the desire many have question in 2026. It’s got the fans believing they can grab a huge win on Saturday.

Forest flew out to Denmark on Thursday to face Midtjylland, overturning their 1-0 deficit, before winning on penalties.

Will playing 120 minutes away from home in Europe prove the telling factor or can Forest draw on that emotional resilience to secure all three points?

Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest betting tips

Richarlison’s moment in high-scoring affair

Not many players in the Tottenham squad have experienced a relegation dog-fight which has been a stick to beat the team with, during their dismal run of form since the turn of the year.

But the Brazilian forward has previous, digging Everton out of a relegation-shaped hole back in 2021/22. Scoring six goals in the last two months of that season.

If he can shape into some form in the last two months, he could single-handedly drag Spurs out of a similar predicament.

Forest will have plenty to say with both sides desperate for maximum points. This could be like a basketball game if the deadlock is broken early.

North London card school

Neco Williams has the joint-most yellow cards in the Forest squad (4), with team-mate Morato. If Mathys Tel plays as direct and with as much intent as he did in the Champions League second-leg against Atletico, it could become a long day for Williams.

Cristian Romero has missed seven games for Tottenham this season, having been shown red on two occasions. Including in the defeat to Man Utd in February, and this match will be his first since that dismissal.

He picked up a cheap yellow card in the Atleti second-leg and with the pressure on both players to bag a vital victory. Romero has previous of going into the referee’s notebook.

Pedro Porro’s last two yellow cards have come in defeats to Fulham and Bournemouth. In a game that’s got so much riding on it, the Spaniard’s temperament might get him a ticking off.
