Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall: Date, venue and how to watch boxer’s clash with World’s Strongest Man

Tommy Fury is incredibly set to box Eddie Hall this year under the Misfits banner.

‘TNT’ made a successful return to the ring last May, scoring a unanimous decision win against Kenan Hanjalic in Budapest, Hungary.

The 26-year-old hadn’t boxed since consecutive wins over Jake Paul and KSI in 2023, with a scheduled Misfits bout against Darren Till in 2025 cancelled on short notice.

Hall, meanwhile, has never boxed professionally, entering the combat sports world for the first time via an exhibition against Hafthor Bjornsson in March 2022.

The 2017 World’s Strongest Man then fought The Neffati Brothers in a wild 2v1 bout two years later, before emphatically stopping Mariusz Pudzianowski on his pro MMA debut last April.

Fury and Hall are good friends and have sparred together many times in the past, but their bond will be set aside for the battle of the Brits that no one saw coming.

Fury vs Hall: What has been said?

Speaking to talkSPORT.com last April, Hall explained what he wants to get out of his future in combat sports.

“I want to challenge myself,” the 38-year-old said.

“I just want to do fun stuff in my life… I’ve got no aspirations to climb the ranks

“I’ve got no aspirations to have a ranking in any fight federation.

“Where I belong is the freak fights, the 2v1s, the Mariusz Pudzianowski’s, the freak fights — I think that’s where I belong.

“You put me in a ring with Tom Aspinall, it’s a recipe for disaster in all scenarios, and that’s not something I want to do anyway, especially not with Tom.

“I’m a very relaxed guy. Look, I could sit back and retire now if I wanted to, I’m doing this for s**** and giggles.

“It’s something to keep me active, keep me focused, keep me moving forward in life.”

After successfully undergoing hand surgery and defeating Hanjalic on his return, Fury expressed his desire to rematch Paul, whom he defeated by split decision in 2023.

“Jake Paul’s a b**** and he’s running scared,” Fury said.

“Hey, Jake, the hand is fixed now, baby, the hand is fixed.

“I fought a guy in here tonight who’s had more than 100 amateur fights, an experienced hitter and he’s as tough as teeth.

“If Jake Paul wants to step inside the ring, I guarantee next time, I will knock you spark out.

“I’ve had two years out of the ring, this is after two years, I’ll knock that bum out whenever he wants it.”
