Tom Brady and Logan Paul on course for WrestleMania 42 clash as WWE make decision on NFL icon
Tom Brady’s beef with Logan Paul looks set to extend from the football field to the squared circle.
NFL legend Brady has engaged in a heated war of words with YouTuber-turned-athlete Paul in recent weeks.

Ahead of the inaugural Flag Football Classic in Los Angeles, where the two men appeared on opposite teams, the seven-time Super Bowl champion admitted he was worried his rival would be embarrassed on the field, and described his WWE exploits as ‘cute.’
“You know, all their stuff is so cute and scripted, and they know what’s going on,” Brady said of pro-wrestling last week, in a clip that quickly went viral with more than two million views.
“In a football game, you don’t know, so they wouldn’t get near me. Plus, if I had a good offensive line, they’ll punch those guys right in the throat and they’d be probably crying.”
A number of WWE stars later hit back, with Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre labeling Brady ‘ignorant.’
Paul himself took things a step further by trolling the NFL GOAT and his colleagues in an ‘apology’ video posted after the flag football tournament — and it seems their back-and-forth is pointing to one thing.
Tom Brady ‘in negotiations’ to make WrestleMania appearance
Speaking on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, veteran pro-wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer suggested Paul and Brady are ‘working’ an angle for WWE.
“From what I have been told, they are in negotiations for Tom Brady,” Meltzer said.
“But there’s absolutely not a deal at this point.
“So it could happen, obviously Logan Paul and Tom Brady are working, everyone knows they’re working the angle I think people have seen that coming in, but there could be something in some form at WrestleMania.
“It would not be a surprise and what they did in the (flag) football game was clearly to build it, all the talk of Tom Brady cutting down pro-wrestlers and all the wrestlers responding, that is all storyline.

“That is not, ‘Tom Brady’s a d*** and he doesn’t respect pro wrestling.'”
After the pair went head-to-head on the football field, which is undoubtedly Brady’s arena, they could soon step into Paul’s world.
Will Tom Brady really make jump to WWE?
An appearance at WrestleMania 42 in April would make plenty of sense.
WWE’s showpiece event is set to take place at Allegiant Stadium next month.
That building, of course, is home to the Las Vegas Raiders — the NFL team that Tom Brady owns a minority stake in.
There has also been recent speculation that WWE is working on branding for the football icon, with nicknames such as ‘The Untouchable Tom Brady’ and ‘T-Bone’ being thrown around, according to Fightful Select and WrestleVotes.

Brady, of course, wouldn’t be the first NFL star to make the jump to the squared circle.
His close friend and former teammate, Rob Gronkowski, has made numerous past appearances and famously interfered during the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33, before hosting the show three years later.
San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, meanwhile, is a massive WWE fan and helped Pat McAfee win his match at WrestleMania 39 against The Miz.
The NFL and pro-wrestling, arguably, go hand-in-hand.

So while WWE is yet to lock Brady down, it’s not out of the question to suggest he could make an appearance at WrestleMania 42 next month — and Paul would be first in line to face him.
