Tiger Woods’ lavish 50th birthday bash to have $53bn title sponsor and Masters nod
Tiger Woods has turned 50, and to celebrate his foundation are hosting a massive bash on January 14.
The legendary golfer hit his half century on December 30, but the big celebration is set for this weekend.

It even has its own title sponsor, with the accounting firm formerly known as Ernst & Young, who reported a $53billion global revenue last year, presenting the event.
The party is set to be full of A-list celebrities, and it is being held in The Breakers Hotel in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The guest list is at 300 people, and it is being hosted by the American’s TGR Foundation.
It is also the launch party for the foundation’s 30th anniversary, and rock legend Jon Bon Jovi will perform at the bash.
For anyone who doesn’t know who he is, the 63-year-old is the lead singer of iconic rock & roll band Bon Jovi.
But Woods sees this as more than just a get together for his friends.
TGR Foundation CEO, Cyndi Court spoke to Front Office Sports, and said: “It’s a lot more than a birthday party, and it’s a lot more than an event.
“It’s an event that’s culminating a year of work, and then launching a year of hard work going forward, and what we’re going to do as we expand and grow.
“We definitely could have made it bigger.
“But we also wanted it to be intimate so that we could celebrate people that throughout the years have made tremendous commitments to Tiger’s vision of what could be possible in the future.”
The guest list includes Justin Thomas and Woods’ long-time caddie Joe LaCava.

Atlanta Falcons owner, Arthur Blank is also set to be in attendance after investing over $1.5billion into the PGA Tour.
There is a dress code, which informs guests to wear a ‘touch of red’.
This is in honour of the 15-time major winner famously wearing red during his final rounds.
The menu is set to be a feast for all involved, and it is based on his five Masters champions meals.
That means there will be porterhouse steaks, cheeseburgers, fajitas and milkshakes.
It is set to be a special event with three main elements, celebrating Woods’s accomplishments on the course, his legacy off the course, and looking ahead at what’s to come.
Celebrating an icon
Woods’ achievements on the golf course have become fewer and sparser as the years have gone on.
Injuries have taken their toll on the American, but he is still one of the greatest to pick up a golf club.
The fact that when he’s fit, he can still compete at 50 is a testament to how good he is.
Of course, this isn’t just a party for Woods as it is also an important day for his foundation.
They are aiming to raise $50million for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) education, career-connected programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
There are currently two centres in the USA, with two more planned, and Woods’ birthday seems like the perfect chance to get the fundraising off to an ideal start.
