Bet of the Day – Leeds to beat Nottingham Forest @ 23/20 

Leeds were taken apart 4-0 at Elland Road by an elite-level Arsenal side last weekend, but the Whites can bounce back to beat Nottingham Forest.

West Ham’s upturn in form has Leeds and Forest looking over their shoulder and there is potential for one of these sides to be only three points clear of the drop zone come the end of this gameweek.

Daniel Farke’s side have lost only two of their last 12 matches in all competitions and they have been particularly impressive at home, losing just two of their 12 top-flight games at Elland Road.

The Tricky Trees have won four of 12 away league matches this term, but they have hit only 11 goals on the road and have not triumphed at Elland Road since 2016.

Charlton vs QPR – Bet Builder – QPR to win & Charlton to score under 1.5 goals @ 17/10

QPR make the short trip south to take on London rivals Charlton at the Valley and the visitors looks capable of picking up all three points in this Championship fixture.

The Hoops put in an excellent display to beat leaders Coventry 2-1 at Loftus Road at the weekend, a match they won the shot count 15-9 and were by far the better team.

Charlton were 2-0 winners at Leicester on Saturday, but Caleb Okoli’s early red card for the Foxes handed the game to the Addicks, who tasted success for just the third time in 16 games in all competitions.

Nathan Jones’s men have scored just 15 goals in 13 second-tier games at the Valley and Charlton don’t appear to have the firepower to match QPR.

A bet builder of QPR to win and Charlton to score under 1.5 goals pays 17/10 and that looks a good play.

Longshot of the Day – Pisa to beat Verona, Celta Vigo to beat Osasuna & Salzburg to beat Austria Vienna treble @ 19/2

Rock-bottom Verona are dealing with a lengthy injury list and there options have been further depleted by the exit of star attacker Giovane, who has left for Napoli.

Veron now host Pisa, who are just one place above them in the table on goal difference, but the visitors have drawn six of their last eight matches away from home and may have just enough quality to snatch a victory.

Osasuna were 3-1 winners at Rayo Vallecano in their most recent La Liga away day, but that victory came from two last-gasp strikes and Gorritxoak have been pretty poor on the road with just five points collected in total.

Friday’s hosts Celta are on a four-game winning streak at home and should have enough in their ranks to extend that record to five matches.

Salzburg were off the pace in the early part of the season but they have clicked into gear to move to the top of the Austrian Bundesliga and can chalk up another victory at the expense of Austria Vienna.

The Red Bulls have won four of their last five home games in all competitions and that strong record will be too much for the visitors, who have lost two of their last three away assignments.
