Chelsea to beat Tottenham @ 1/1 

There are many factors to consider when it comes to Chelsea’s clash with Tottenham on Tuesday with this Stamford Bridge contest coming just a few days after the FA Cup final at Wembley. 

The west Londoners were beaten 1-0 by Manchester City on Saturday, but the performance level of the Blues suggests they will be too strong for Tottenham if they can put on a similar showing.

Roberto De Zerbi’s men were good when beating a second-string Aston Villa side 2-1 at Villa Park at the start of the month, but the Lilywhites were then poor when only drawing 1-1 with Leeds in north London last time out. 

Leeds put up the better expected goals number in last week’s contest and the Whites may well have won the game but for two brilliant saves from Spurs keeper Antonin Kinsky. 

Tottenham have won only two of their last 18 top-flight games and Chelsea are unlikely to give their struggling rivals an easy time.

The Brazilian has the pace to exploit City’s high defensive line and will be a major goal threat at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth to beat Manchester City 3-2 @ 27/1 

Manchester City know that they need three points to stay in the title race and the Citizens are never shy in going forward. 

However, the trip to Bournemouth comes only a few days after a gruelling FA Cup final and, while Pep Guardiola has the squad to absorb fixture congestion, City’s big performers may be a little jaded. 

Bournemouth created problems for City in a 3-1 Etihad Stadium loss earlier this season and the Cherries beat Guardiola’s side 2-1 on the south coast last term. 

At a huge 27/1, a chance can be taken on a 3-2 Bournemouth correct score punt.
