Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama proves he’s not ready just yet with more clutch failures in Game 5 to lose NBA Finals
The San Antonio Spurs had a nice run to the NBA Finals, but it was cut short in five games as they lost to the New York Knicks. Throughout the series, the Spurs showed a lot of promise, and it looked like they had everything under control in the first half of the games. Unfortunately, it was in the fourth quarter that they always fell short, and the Knicks took advantage of them.
This was Victor Wembanyama’s first rodeo, and though he showed that he could lead a team this season, it’s obvious that he’s not ready to fully take over a game after his several failures in Game 5.
