‘Spectacular’ Liam Gallagher taunted Arsenal fans inside Wembley box in ‘best weekend ever’
Noel Gallagher enjoyed the ‘best weekend ever’ alongside brother and fellow Oasis star Liam at the Carabao Cup final.
The Oasis stars shared a box at Wembley Stadium as their beloved Manchester City beat Arsenal on Sunday.

Nico O’Reilly’s second half brace secured City’s fifth Carabao Cup triumph under Pep Guardiola.
After watching on at Wembley, a hungover Gallagher joined Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent on Drive on Monday evening.
The musician revealed Liam also couldn’t resist taunting Arsenal supporters as they watched their team fall to defeat in the stands.
Asked how they came to be in a box together, Gallagher explained: “He invited me to his box. He was on spectacular form.
“On either side of us were two Arsenal boxes and let’s put it this way, he was letting them know that he was there.
“All the kids were there and we had a great time.
“Joe Cole was in our box, he was having a great time too, he must know someone who’s connected with Liam.”
Noel Gallagher’s ‘best weekend ever’
City’s cup triumph formed the second half of a bumper weekend of live sport for Gallagher and his sons having attended UFC London at the O2 Arena on Saturday night.
The 58-year-old received a hero’s welcome from the crowd after appearing on the big screen during the event.
Meanwhile, he and his sons were invited into the octagon by UFC president Dana White and also met Hall of Famer Michael Bisping.

Recalling the event, he added: “Me and my lads have had the best weekend ever, we took the lads to the UFC and they met Michael Bisping, Dana White took them in the Octagon, we had the best night, the best weekend.
“We were saying if City win it’d be the best weekend ever, but my lads have put it in the top three best weekends of all time.”
Fortunately for Gallagher, City went on to complete the ‘best weekend ever’ by beating Arsenal.
Arsenal could be ‘bottlers again’
Guardiola’s side could still inflict yet more trophy heartbreak on the Gunners this season with both sides in FA Cup quarter-final action following the international break.
Meanwhile, City can still deny Arsenal a first Premier League title since 2004.
Gallagher believes the Carabao Cup final could have a knock on effect in the coming weeks.

He admitted: “That game for Arsenal was enormous, they must have spoken about it in the week saying: ‘If we win this trophy, it’s the first for this team’.
“But now they’ve given everyone in the country the chance to call them chokers and bottlers again.
“And when it comes down to it in a few weeks time when there’s a game they have to win, then they’re used to choking, so we’ll see.
“Even in the Champions League it doesn’t bode well… let’s just say City and Arsenal get to the FA Cup final, they’re lining up again and looking across the halfway line thinking… they don’t seem to be the type of team to take it by the scruff of the neck in a one-off game.”

Arsenal are currently nine points clear of City, who have a game in hand.
The two sides will also meet at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, April 19.
