Sidelines empty and helmets fly as Jaguars-Titans brawl erupts following returning star’s late hit on former teammate
It all kicked off in the Jacksonville Jaguars-Tennessee Titans game.
With seconds remaining on the clock in the second quarter, a brawl ensued between the two teams following a late hit on Jags quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

The contact, initiated by Titans linebacker Arden Key against his former quarterback, saw tempers flare as Jaguars offensive tackle Anton Harrison took exception to the hit.
The two got physical with helmets coming off as the altercation went into the Jags sideline.
The NFL officials threw a penalty flag calling Key for roughing the passer, but no ejections were handed out.
The penalty allowed the Jaguars to get into field goal range, with Cam Little converting from 45 yards as the clock hit zero to give Jacksonville an 18-3 lead at the half.
“That forearm to the head & neck area will get a flag every time. Completely unnecessary & Cam Little made ’em pay,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“Arden Key just salty he not playing with us
,” a second Jags fan posted, referencing that the Titans LB once donned the teal uniform.
“They might take away Arden’s key to the city for that one,” a third commented.
Even the Jaguars’ social media account couldn’t help themselves, captioning their half-time post with the two-word caption “Keep swinging.”
Entering the third quarter, Lawrence had thrown 11-of-14 for 169 yards and two touchdowns, with the former No. 1 overall draft pick also leading the Jags in rushing with 14 yards from a lone carry.
On the other side of the ball, rookie quarterback – and the No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 draft – could amass just 69 yards from 10-of-16 passing in the first half.
Running back Tony Pollard led the rushing attack with 43 yards from six carries.
