Shedeur Sanders’ Browns brutally booed as dad Deion watches Titans showdown
Cleveland Browns fans made their frustrations clear in Week 14.
After the Browns defense gave up two early touchdowns against the Tennessee Titans, those watching at Huntington Bank Field loudly booed the home team.

No. 1 overall draft pick Cam Ward led a touchdown drive on the first possession of the game, before Tony Pollard ripped off a huge 65-yard rushing score as the first quarter came to a close.
The Browns, led by rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders, went into the second period down 14-3.
As Pollard celebrated his TD in the Ohio snow, the atmosphere inside Huntington Bank Field — soon to be demolished — turned.
Watching their Browns struggle against a 1-11 team, fans booed and jeered their defense off the field.
It didn’t take long for NFL fans to recognise the hostile environment that rookie QB Shedeur was thrown into as his dad, Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, watched on from the stands.
He did throw a second-quarter touchdown to bring the score back to 14-10, after the jeers were heard.
“Browns getting booed at home vs 1-11 team. Great product lol,” one wrote on X.
“Hey Jimmy. Your team is getting booed in the first quarter. Get a clue,” another said, taking aim at team owner Jimmy Haslam.
“Boo this team, especially this coaching staff, to heck & back… a terrible start. Humiliating and embarrassing. Joke of the league,” a third concluded.
Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward meet in battle of high-profile rookies
Two very different paths led Sanders and Ward to the field in Week 14.
Ward was the No. 1 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, and has been Tennessee’s starter since Week 1.

Sanders, meanwhile, slipped to the fifth round and began the season buried on the Browns depth chart.
Yet, such has been the media circus around Cleveland, that much of the limelight has been on the 144th overall pick, and not the man taken first.
The 3-9 Browns have been far from stable in 2025. Veteran Joe Flacco was initially brought in to lead the quarterback room, but he soon departed for the rival Cincinnati Bengals.
Dillon Gabriel, another rookie, was promoted to starter before he went down injured in Week 11.
That paved the way for Sanders to finally start seven days later.
He picked up his first career win, and Cleveland’s third of the season, against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Sanders was also under center against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13, where the Browns lost and dropped to 3-9.
The Titans, though, have also struggled.
Heading into Sunday, they held a 1-11 record, the worst in the NFL. They also sit bottom of talkSPORT’s power rankings.
So far, Ward has thrown 2,351 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions this season. His QBR through 13 weeks was 31.8.

Despite tough campaigns, both the Browns and Titans had realistic hopes of picking up a win against the one another on Sunday.
Early on in the game, it’s advantage Ward.
