Ranking the NFL’s top 10 wide receivers as a surprising new number one emerges
Who are the top 10 wide receivers in the NFL today?
The league has never been more talented or skilled at the wide receiver position. From top to bottom, on every roster, there seems to be a star pass-catcher. The question is: who is the best? Who belongs in the top 10?

Forget the Super Bowl contenders, forget the top 10 quarterbacks in the league—this list is all about the wideouts.
So, without further ado, here are today’s top 10 wide receivers, according to talkSPORT.
To be eligible for the list, players had to appear in at least 15 games, which made stars like Davante Adams, CeeDee Lamb, Malik Nabers, Tyreek Hill and Mike Evans ineligible.
Honorable mentions: Tee Higgins, Stefon Diggs, Tetairoa McMillan, Jameson Williams, Michael Wilson and A.J. Brown.
Ranking the NFL’s top 10 current wide receivers right now
10. – Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos
2025 stats: 74 receptions, 1,017 yards, 7 touchdowns (17 games)
The Denver Broncos have leaned on Courtland Sutton to lead their passing game, and he has delivered, helping guide the team to the AFC’s top seed.
Bo Nix consistently looked Sutton’s way to spark the offense, and when the unit struggled at times this year, it usually meant Sutton wasn’t getting the ball enough.
Now it’s time for Sutton, Nix, and company to perform in January.

9. – Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
2025 stats: 86 receptions, 1,211 yards, 5 touchdowns (17 games)
While Lamar Jackson was in and out of the lineup this season, Zay Flowers was on the field every game, doing his best to make the offense work and create space against defenses stacking the line of scrimmage to stop Derrick Henry.
Flowers delivered career-best numbers in receptions and yards for the Ravens and matched his personal best in touchdowns.
He made the Pro Bowl for a second consecutive year.

8. – Nico Collins, Houston Texans
2025 stats: 71 receptions, 1,117 yards, 6 touchdowns (15 games)
Nico Collins has helped steady a shaky Houston Texans offense.
In what has been an up-and-down year for quarterback C.J. Stroud, Collins has been able to provide him the security and comfort needed to make the big play.
Through an up-and-down season for C.J. Stroud, Collins has been the steady presence, giving him the confidence to make game-changing plays, and makes Houston one of the scarier teams in the postseason.
If Collins and Stroud can play up to their standards in the playoffs, combined with Houston’s tenacious defense, watch out.

7. Chris Olave – New Orleans Saints
2025 stats: 100 receptions, 1,163 yards, 9 touchdowns (16 games)
The Saints may have found something in rookie quarterback Tyler Shough, whose job is made much easier with Chris Olave to throw to.
The fourth-year wideout had a career year, setting personal bests in catches, yards and touchdowns.
While it was an overall disappointing year in the Big Easy, the future looks bright. After playing in just eight games last season, Olave battled back and proved he belongs among the league’s top wide receivers.
Give the man his flowers.

6. – Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
2025 stats: 84 receptions, 1,048 yards, 2 touchdowns (17 games)
Go ahead and debate it.
By his own standard, it was a quiet year for Justin Jefferson, but he still produced despite the revolving door at quarterback that included catching passes from J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz and even Max Brosmer.
There’s nothing Jefferson can’t do as well as anyone in the NFL, and one down year shouldn’t change that.
The Minnesota Vikings once had a young Randy Moss, and while their styles differ, Jefferson is carving out his own path as a future Hall of Famer in Minnesota.

5. – George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys
2025 stats: 93 receptions, 1,429 yards and 9 touchdowns (17 games)
Maybe the most surprising player of the season was George Pickens.
The Steelers traded Pickens to Dallas in May, and he has since been one of the best wide receivers in football. Period.
Despite the Cowboys’ struggles, Pickens has been a dream pairing for Dak Prescott. CeeDee Lamb missed a few games this year, but when they were both out there, they formed one of the NFL’s top wide receiver duos.

4. – Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
2025 stats: 117 receptions, 1,401 yards and 11 touchdowns (17 games)
All Amon-Ra St. Brown does is get open and catch the ball.
The Detroit star is well on his way to smashing Calvin Johnson’s franchise records. That should tell you all you need to know.
Since entering the league as a rookie in 2021, St. Brown has established himself among the NFL’s elite, earning First-Team All-Pro honors twice, with a third potentially on the way.
He possesses all the tools of a star WR1 and has proven it, helping transform the Detroit Lions from bottom-feeders to Super Bowl contenders — a near-impossible task. That alone says all you need to know.
And while the Lions fell short this year, the future remains bright as long as St. Brown is out there catching balls.

3. – Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
2025 stats: 125 receptions, 1,412 yards, 8 touchdowns (16 games)
It was another frustrating season in Cincinnati, with star quarterback Joe Burrow once again missing a significant amount of time, and the Bengals missing the postseason for the third season in a row.
There is a lot of blame to go around, but none of it should fall on superstar Ja’Marr Chase. He once again had an exceptional year that included catching passes from Jake Browning and Joe Flacco.
That didn’t stop the reigning triple-crown leader from making his presence felt and proving once again why he is truly one of a kind, no matter who is throwing him the ball.

2. – Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
2025 stats: 129 receptions, 1,715 yards, 10 touchdowns (16 games)
Puka Nacua was among the most productive receivers in football in 2025. With the addition of Davante Adams and a healthy Matthew Stafford, his play reached new heights.
He struggled to stay healthy for stretches last season, but when he was on the field, few could slow him down. He only missed one game this year and picked up right where he left off.
He shattered nearly every receiving record in his rookie year two seasons ago, and after an injury-shortened sophomore campaign, Nacua is already reminding everyone just how talented he is.

1. – Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
2025 stats: 119 receptions, 1,793 yards, 10 touchdowns (17 games)
The third-year wideout out of Ohio State officially claimed the title of the NFL’s best wide receiver in 2025. Coming off his best season as a pro—one that earned him his first Pro Bowl nod—Jaxon Smith-Njigba took his game to another level and then some.
Alongside Sam Darnold, he helped lead the Seahawks to the NFC’s No. 1 seed and has made a strong case as the league’s best team. In the process, he has been—hands down—the NFL’s top receiver.
With D.K. Metcalf long gone, Smith-Njigba became Seattle’s offensive centerpiece. Simply put, 2025 belonged to JSN.
