Patrick Mahomes fires off clear message to his alma mater on making history
Texas Tech has made history, and the world’s greatest quarterback can’t get enough of it.
The Red Raiders took down the BYU Cougars 34-7 in the Big 12 championship game in Dallas and Patrick Mahomes was loving every second.
“Proud of them boys! Big 12 Champs! Congrats! @TexasTechFB Job not done!!! #WreckEm,” Mahomes posted on X.
Mahomes played for the Red Raiders from 2014–2016 and has remained heavily involved with the football program and the university.
And his school finally accomplished something he never could — winning the Big 12.
It was Texas Tech’s first Big 12 championship in school history.
