Pascal Gross set for shock return to Premier League for just £1.5m
Pascal Gross is set to make a shock return to Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Seagulls have agreed a £1.3million deal with Borussia Dortmund to re-sign the midfielder.

The 34-year-old has spent a season-and-a-half in Germany but has seen his game-time diminish.
This season he has only managed 732 minutes of football across 16 appearances this term, registering two assists.
That’s compared to last season where he was an almost ever-present in the Dortmund side and regularly completed the full 90 minutes.
Last term he also created 10 goals for teammates including four in a 6-0 win over Union Berlin.
The arrival of Jobe Bellingham at the Westfalenstadion is one of the reasons behind his limited role.
Gross will return to the Amex Stadium, subject to a medical and international clearance, as a club legend.
He signed for them as a relative unknown, arriving from FC Ingolstadt 04 in 2017 as they embarked on their Premier League journey.
The £3m they forked out will go down as one of the best pound-for-pound signings in top-flight history.
Across a seven-year span, Gross played in a multitude of positions, including full-back.
His highlight reel debut season saw him nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award and scored a winner against Manchester United that secured their safety.

A skilled set-piece taker, his career at Brighton was a huge hit first time around.
After 261 matches he left with 32 goals and 53 assists with the former a Premier League record for the club.
That was until Danny Welbeck pipped him in April 2025 as he scored an equaliser against rivals Crystal Palace.
His form was so impressive he eventually earned a call-up to the German international team.
He’s since played 16 times for his nation, scoring one goal but his last match was in September 2025.
Gross has been absent from their last two squads with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon.
