‘Nothing’s impossible’ – Angry Ginge considers Q School in shock career change after Luke Littler showdown
Out with the camera and in with the darts.
English YouTuber Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, hinted he could make a shock appearance at Q School in 2027.

Speaking on talkSPORT’s Hawksbee and Jacobs, Angry Ginge admitted he would be up against it given he could face full-time darts players.
However, the I’m A Celeb winner was adamant if he decided to put all his eggs into the darts basket, ‘nothing’s impossible.’
Angry Ginge eyes up Q School berth
“I don’t think I’ve got a chance [of making it through Q School], to be totally honest with you,” Angry Ginge said.
“But Q School, more for the experience. What harm can it do?
“Just go there, see what it’s about, enjoy it and take it in.
“In my opinion, I’m half-decent for the amount I play, so if I ever wanted to, in a few years, lock in and practice for four, five hours a day, you never know. Nothing’s impossible.”
What is Q School?
Q School offers players the chance to win a two-year PDC Tour Card and takes place after the World Darts Championship, with those wishing to compete needing to stump up a £475 entry fee.
Hundreds of aspiring players descend on Milton Keynes and Kalkar in Germany for the lucrative Tour Card.
There were only 29 Tour Cards up for grabs at this year’s Q School, which featured a star-studded list of competitors.
Charlie Manby, who enjoyed a stunning run to the last 16 in his World Darts Championship debut, was one name that earned a Tour Card via his performance at Q School.

So too did Mervyn King, who was once ranked as high as fourth in the world but was declared bankrupt in March 2025.
However, there was no such luck for former world champion Steve Beaton, who came out of retirement to compete in Q School.
Given the quality of players who don’t make the cut at Q School, Angry Ginge is under no illusions of the task that awaits him in 2027.
“I’m not going to rock up and think I’ve got a chance,” he said.
“I’ll rock up, I probably won’t even win a game, never mind a leg.
“We’ll just see what happens, see what it’s about. You never know, in a few years I might lock in and try.”

How matches against Luke Littler could fuel Angry Ginge’s Q School bid
However, Angry Ginge might not need to wait that long to get his skills up to scratch given how well he has performed when playing against his good mate and two-time world champion Luke Littler.
Angry Ginge was among Littler’s cheer squad at the World Championship and the pair have featured in a number of videos together, some of which were darts matches.
Despite Littler being on course to become one of the greatest darts players of all time, Angry Ginge came agonisingly close to a shock victory over ‘The Nuke’.
The impressive displays has Littler believing the YouTuber could do some damage at the oche.
“Luke’s said I’m actually quite decent,” Burtwistle said.
“I think I’ve played against him a couple of times, and every time I’ve took a leg off him.
“Then I played him early last year and I missed one dart at double to beat him.”
