New Zealand (NZ) take on South Africa (SA) in the third T20I at Eden Park, Auckland, on Friday, March 20.

The series is intriguingly poised at 1-1. The Proteas won the first T20I in Mount Maunganui by seven wickets on Sunday, March 15. The Kiwis were bowled out for just 91 before South Africa chased the paltry target with 20 balls to spare.

The Black Caps bounced back strongly in the second T20I in Hamilton on Tuesday. They posted 175/6 before dismissing the touring side for just 107 in 15.3 overs. The team that wins the third T20I would get into a fantastic position in the five-match series.

Eden Park, Auckland Pitch Report

Eden Park in Auckland is expected to provide a good batting track. The small boundaries lead to even the mishits going the distance. Sometimes, the pitch gets slower as the match progresses. However, in a T20I clash, expect the surface to remain the same for 40 overs.

NZ vs SA Probable Best Performers of the Match

Probable Best Batter: Devon Conway

Devon Conway sat on the bench for the entirety of the T20 World Cup as Tim Seifert and Finn Allen were firing on all cylinders at the top. The left-handed batter was dismissed cheaply in the first T20I but bounced back strongly in the second with a 49-ball 60. He would look to continue from where he left off in Hamilton.

Probable Best Bowler: Lockie Ferguson

Lockie Ferguson missed the first T20I but came back for the second and bowled a thrilling spell. In 3.3 overs, he bagged three wickets and conceded just 16 runs. The right-arm seamer looked in fine rhythm and would want to continue in the same vein on Friday.
