Naoya Inoue’s former rival leaves foe violently vomiting after sickening body shot KO
Naoya Inoue’s former dance partner, Ye Joon Kim, scored one of the grimmest knockouts you are likely to see this year.
The Japanese boxer locked horns with Thailand’s Yuttapong Tongdee in a super bantamweight bout on Friday night in Lahore, Pakistan.
In the fourth round, Kim decked Tondgee with a sweeping left to the body that he couldn’t recover from.
The referee waved off the contest at the count of six as Tongdee slid over to the ropes on his knees and projectile vomited outside of the ring.
He was eventually helped onto a stool by his team, where he was left wincing with pain.
The grim footage made the rounds on social media, much to the disgust of anyone who was eating when they came across it.
One fan quipped: “Nah this is exactly why you buy floor seats.
“Where else are you gonna get splashed with a grown man’s soul leaving his body in 4K? Best money ever spent.”
Another wrote: “Imagine having to clean that s*** up.”
A third posted: “Bro busted his gut, damn.”
A fourth commented: “That is absolutely grim.”
Meanwhile, somebody else added: “Anyone checked in on the camera guy?”
It marked Tongdee’s (15-2) second consecutive defeat after being blown away in one round by Yoshiki Takei for the WBO bantamweight crown in May.

Kim (22-3-2) also entered the bout off the back of a stoppage loss.
In January, the South Korean stepped in as a late replacement opponent for undisputed super bantamweight king Inoue after Sam Goodman was forced to withdraw for a second time due to a cut.
It would have been a hard enough task facing Inoue on a full camp, let alone 11 days’ notice.
And after a slow start, the inevitable knockout came in the fourth round.
