Moses Itauma looks in incredible shape ahead of his clash with Jermaine Franklin on Saturday, live on talkSPORT.

Itauma has fluctuated in weight for most of his career, with the 135.5lbs he came in at for Whyte his lowest ever.

The Englishman’s heaviest came in his win before ‘the Body Snatcher’, when he weighed in at 254lbs before defeating Mike Balogun.

Franklin, meanwhile, weighed 258.4lbs in Manchester on Friday, 2.5lbs heavier than his last win over Ivan Dychko, whom the American named as the toughest opponent of his career.

“I’m just ready to fight,” the 32-year-old said.

When asked about coming into the fight as a huge underdog, Franklin added: “There’s nothing I prefer, but I’ve been counted out my whole life.

“I do good in these situations. I’m trying to bring it back home, bring it back to the States, that’s a goal of mine.

“I got a type of hunger that doesn’t stop. I want more every time. You’re going to see fireworks, a war, and good action.”

Itauma said: “I don’t care about what my opponent says, I just have to do my thing.

“It’s been a long time coming. I see a man that’s ready to fight, and it’s a recipe for a good fight.

“Moses Itauma. Clinical.”
