Mohamed Salah next club odds: Saudi odds on favourites after Elland Road outburst
Mohamed Salah is now odds on to join the Saudi Pro League in the January transfer window after claims he has been “thrown under the bus” at Liverpool this season.
Speculation is rife now that the Liverpool winger will be on his way out of the club in January following his interview conducted after the Reds’ 3-3 draw with Leeds on Saturday evening. The Egyptian is now priced at 4/5 to be heading to Saudi Arabia in January.

Salah is into his ninth season at Liverpool after joining from Roma in the summer of 2017, and has made 420 appearances for the club in that time, winning eight trophies (including two Premier Leagues and a Champions League) and scoring 250 goals, putting him third on the list of the club’s all-time top goal scorers.
It’s felt by some though that the 33-year-old may have played his last game for the club following an outburst to journalists at Elland Road after a 3-3 draw in which Salah was an unused substitute, his second time not coming off the bench in three games and his third match in a row not in the starting line up.
Following the game the Egyptian said: “I think it is very clear that someone wanted me to get all of the blame. I don’t know why but it seems to me that someone doesn’t want me in the club. It seems like the club has thrown me under the bus.”
Such comments has naturally sparked rumours of the winger’s departure, to Saudi Arabia in particular, where Salah has previously been strongly linked.

Before the Liverpool superstar signed his latest contract at Anfield back in April, a two-year deal, the two-time Premier League champion had also been linked with a move to the Gulf state, located very close to Salah’s home nation of Egypt, and where the several footballing stars have moved to in recent years and where players are paid very well.
A move to the Turkish league is priced as second favourite for Salah, another move which would see the 33-year-old move closer to his homeland, but also stay in Europe and enable him to continue to compete in the Champions League while still earning a high salary.
There are several European giants rumoured to be interested in a move for the Liverpool star should he depart Anfield, with the likes of Bayern Munich (12/1), Barcelona and PSG (both 16/1) among the heavyweights linked with a move for the 33-year-old.
Another option for the forward could be a move to the USA and the MLS, which would be a huge coup for the league in the months approaching a World Cup in North America, in which Salah will be featuring for Egypt.
