Michael Oliver jokes with Tottenham star as Manchester United ref cam footage revealed
Michael Oliver delivered a hilarious comment to Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Conor Gallagher during their loss to Manchester United.
The moment was recorded by the ‘Ref Cam’ during Saturday’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

Footage from the camera, which is worn by the referee, has been revealed following the match.
It gives fans an on-pitch view of the action, including Cristian Romero’s red card.
The Spurs captain was sent off by Oliver for a challenge on Casemiro during the first half.
United went on to win 2-0 thanks to goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Bruno Fernandes.
However, it was a light-hearted interaction between Oliver and Gallagher which has caught the eye.
The England international had been speaking to the referee alongside United captain Fernandes.
Gallagher can be heard claiming: “I nearly scored,” as he points towards the goal.
Oliver responds by quipping: “With a better first touch you would have done.”
His friendly joke was immediately met with a smile from Gallagher as the pair laughed at his expense.
The 26-year-old had been unable to find the target as his wait for a first Spurs goal continues.

Since signing from Atletico Madrid in January, Gallagher has made five Premier League appearances.
Those outings include an assist in their 2-2 draw with Manchester City on February 1.
However, he has also yet to taste victory with the north London side, a run which has cost Thomas Frank his job.
The Dane was sacked by Spurs on Wednesday after just eight months in charge.
Tottenham are weighing up whether or not to hire a new permanent manager immediately or wait until the end of the season, talkSPORT understands.
Roberto De Zerbi, Mauricio Pochettino, Robbie Keane and Francesco Farioli are all under consideration for the vacant role.

Spurs currently sit three points above the relegation zone in 16th place.
What is Ref Cam?
The Premier League introduced Ref Cam at the start of the 2025/26 season.
An initial trial period saw the technology tested during selected matches at the beginning of the campaign.
It sees referees wear a camera on their shirt whilst officiating matches.
An ear-piece and microphone are also attached to the device to allow fans to hear their conversations.
Although live footage from Ref Cam is not available, it is used during replays of major incidents and highlights.
