Mets’ Luis Robert Jr gets troubling back injury update amid Nationals series
The New York Mets are in the midst of their Washington Nationals series, and there’s a chance they won’t be without a key player for the matchup. Luis Robert Jr. has been dealing with lower back tightness, and manager Carlos Mendoza offered an update on the center fielder.
“Luis Robert Jr. (back) ‘didn’t improve much’ overnight, per Carlos Mendoza. He’s receiving an MRI today. The injured list is in play for him,” DiComo wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
