‘Man of the people’ – Caleb Williams responds after Ben Johnson rips off shirt to win Bears fans epic prize
Ben Johnson shocked NFL fans when he ripped off his shirt after the Chicago Bears’ 24-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.
The Bears’ head coach was hyped after his players pulled off a stunning upset over the reigning world champions at Lincoln Financial Field to move to 9-3 for the season and boost their playoff hopes.

Perhaps the most surprising thing was how ripped the 39-year-old Johnson was, and his wild antics quickly went viral on social media.
“He’s ripped,” one fan posted while another wrote, “Ben Johnson lowkey jacked.”
The biggest winners from Johnson’s shirtless celebration were fans in Chicago, as The Wieners Circle, a hotdog stand north of the city, promised free hotdogs for everyone if the head coach took his top off.
Johnson referenced the free food in his speech to the players in the locker room.
“I know you guys are hungry for more right?” he began.
“Let me tell you something… the city of Chicago’s hungry too.”
Quarterback Caleb Williams gave a simple explanation as to why Johnson took his shirt off.
“He did take his shirt off, he’s a man of the people, let’s just say that,” he told reporters after the game.
Bears strengthen their position in the NFC
Friday’s win was Chicago’s ninth victory in their last ten outings as they sit atop the NFC North.
Meanwhile, the Eagles slip to 8-4 for the season after they suffered their second straight loss, following their blown 21-point lead to the Dallas Cowboys last week.

Disgruntled Philadelphia fans booed their team during their first half as the Bears dominated the opening exchanges.
In the first two quarters, Chicago had tallied 222 yards to Philadelphia’s 83, 16 first downs to two, 142 rushing yards to 26, 21 minutes of possession to nine and 47 plays to the Eagles’ 17.
It made the Bears’ 10-3 lead at halftime look flattering.
However, the Eagles, who have the highest-salaried offense in the NFL with stars like Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts, won’t change anything about their offense, according to head coach Nick Sirianni.
“We’re not changing the playcaller. But we will evaluate everything,” Sirianni said.
“It’s never just about one person. You win as a team, you lose as a team, and you try to evaluate everything, win, lose or draw, and get better from it.”
Up next for the Super Bowl champions are the Los Angeles Chargers, while the Bears have the Green Bay Packers, who are just coming off a thrilling Thanksgiving win against the Detroit Lions.
