Lakers’ LeBron James goes berserk on Alperen Sengun after ‘soft a** call’ complaint

The Los Angeles Lakers fell short for the second straight game against the Houston Rockets, and they now only lead the series 3-2. The Lakers made a run late in Game 5, and it started with LeBron James going to the free-throw line. Most people weren’t worried about the free throws but more about what James was saying to Alperen Sengun.

The Rockets’ center must’ve said that James got a soft a** call, because the Lakers’ star went off on him.

“Did you say soft a** call? Nah, not you. Anybody else on the roster, But not you,” James said. “You don’t say that. You don’t say that. You don’t say that. You the only person out here that ain’t allowed to say that. Soft a** Yeah, alright.”

Sengun has been known to get some questionable foul calls, and it looks like James wasn’t going to hold back anymore.

Nonetheless, the Rockets did what they had to do to extend the series, and they’ll be going home for Game 6.

“Today, I knew they were coming after me, so I was just trying to find my teammates, and everybody was ready to shoot. We kind of understand what they’re doing on defense right now,” Senguns said after the game.

“Everybody feels amazing. Nobody’s tired. Today, everybody showed it. We’re going in front of our families, fans (in Game 6), hopefully there’s gonna be a lot of people out there, and we’re gonna protect our home and come back here for Game 7.”

As for the Lakers, they were able to get Austin Reaves back from injury, but it still wasn’t enough for them to close out the series. They’ll have another chance, but it may be hard trying to get one on the road. The flip side to that is that they already won one on the road, and they can do it.
