John Terry’s daughter asks him not to post Arsenal vs Chelsea video that backfired
John Terry’s reaction to Chelsea’s Carabao Cup semi-final loss to Arsenal was caught on camera by the Blues legend.
The former England captain filmed himself watching the final moments of Tuesday’s second leg at the Emirates Stadium.

Terry even uploaded the video to TikTok despite his daughter begging him not to post the video.
Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by the Gunners as they succumbed to a 4-2 aggregate defeat.
Arsenal will now face Manchester City or Newcastle United in the final at Wembley Stadium on March 22.
The Blues’ fate was only sealed in stoppage time, though, as Kai Havertz scored on the break with the visitors pushing for a goal.
Terry had been cheering his old side on as they aimed to score and take the match to extra-time.
He was left stunned as Arsenal punished their London rivals on the counter-attack.
As he watched Havertz score, Terry exclaimed: “Offside, offside anyway. Offside. Surely he’s offside. That’s the end of our cup run. Surely he’s offside.
“Not a bad performance from us but didn’t really look like scoring all night to be honest and Arsenal have done what they needed tonight.”
The 45-year-old then turned the camera to his daughter Summer, who had been watching the match with him.
However, she was far more camera shy, telling him: “Don’t put that anywhere dad,” as she tried to cover her face.

Terry responded by telling her to ‘say sorry’, to which she did, before Summer added: “You’re not putting that anywhere.”
The ex-Chelsea skipper then said: “I am,” as his daughter persisted by replying: “You’re not.”
Summer did not get her way, though, as Terry shared the video with his 456,000 followers on TikTok.
Alongside the post, he wrote in the caption: “Losing at home was always going to be difficult in the second leg at the Emirates and that proved exactly that tonight against a solid Arsenal team.”
With fans questioning why the Chelsea academy coach appeared to be wearing a club tracksuit, he added: “Also I’m not sitting at home in my Chelsea tracksuit, got back earlier from our Youth League game vs PSV which we won on penalties.”
Terry returned to the club in 2023 as part of the youth team set-up after a spell as Dean Smith’s assistant manager at Leicester City.

He had previously worked with the academy following his spell as part of Smith’s Aston Villa coaching staff.
As a player, Terry made 717 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 67 goals from centre-back.
During his 22 years at the club, he won 15 trophies including three League Cup triumphs.
Terry also won the Champions League as well as five Premier League titles.
