John Fury has claimed he will begin a regimented training camp to fight Carl Froch.

The 60-year-old Fury and retired British boxing icon Froch have been at odds ever since the veteran confronted him and angrily screamed at him during a press conference.

Fury Sr has once again claimed he will fight Froch, who has accepted the bout

Ever since his son Tyson’s event to launch his April 11 comeback fight with Arslanbek Makhmudov, the pair have gone back and forth over a potential fight.

Froch first offered to face Fury Sr on a Misfits Boxing bill, making a violent threat towards the father of the famous boxing dynasty.

But then Fury Sr hit back proposing the pair lace up their gloves on the undercard of his son’s return in two months time.

Yesterday ‘The Cobra’ confirmed his intentions to accept the offer, albeit the realistic chances of a showdown being made do look slim.

But nonetheless his surprising potential rival Fury has now claimed he will begin training to face the Nottingham native.

He said in a social media video while running: “Another video this morning.

“I’m going to be the first man to fight a three-time hall-of-famer just training myself.

“Running, bare knuckle, heavy bag, eating and living in the woods. Chopping trees and eating the filth of the earth.

“I’m going to prove to everyone you don’t need a trainer and a strength and conditioning coach.

“None of that c***. I’m going back to the 70’s. Contact me and let’s hope you’ve got deep pockets. I’ll wait to hear from you.

“If anybody is interested in what I’m saying, contact my lawyer and we can get the bout on.

“All the proceeds of this, I will give three quarters of this to well known charities.

“I’ll donate most of it to charity and it will be in the contract.”

It is clear there has been no official contact over a clash as of yet, and any bout is unlikely to take place on the card.

Fury Sr is now 60-years-old and any clash is almost certainly not going to be sanctioned as a professional bout.

Froch has teased a return to boxing for the first time in 12 years, but has yet to receive an official offer to face Fury.

Froch was insistent that he would be interested in the pair touching gloves.

And he has already made a violent plan to settle their surprise rivalry.

He said in his own video: “I feel like I’m the chosen one.

I feel like it might be my job to finally shut this big gobs***e up. All he does is run around running his mouth.

John, one final time, listen to me so it goes into that thick skull. I accept the challenge but know one thing – I’m going to come over to your corner and absolutely f***ing stick it on your Cobra style.

“I’m thinking to myself, ‘Is this guy actually being serious?’. He’s telling Netflix to get in touch. I’m not going to turn it down.

I’m not going to say I’m not going to fight him because John Fury’s a big bully and big bullies need putting in their place and if I’m the man that has to do it, I will do it.
