Jake Paul’s fiancee Jutta Leerdam hailed as ‘modern ice queen’ and tipped for OnlyFans career

Jutta Leerdam heads to the Winter Olympics with one thing on her mind – winning gold.

The road to Milano-Cortina was rockier than expected for the seven-time world champion speed skater, who fell in qualifying during the Dutch trials.

Her position on the team was put in peril by that unfortunate moment, but it was later confirmed by the national selection committee that Leerdam would be packing her bags for Italy.

She will compete in both the 1000m and 500m speed skating events, and is hyper-focused on going one better than the silver medal secured back in 2022.

With Leerdam chasing Olympic gold, the speed skating competition in Milan promises to be box-office entertainment, and is expected to draw more eyes than ever before.

Away from the ice, 27-year-old Leerdam boasts a social media following that tops five million fans, making her one of the most famous faces at the 2026 Winter Games.

She is engaged to YouTube star turned professional boxer Jake Paul, who has just shy of 29 million followers on Instagram alone.

Thanks, in part, to her high-profile relationship and social media stardom, Leerdam has built a profile that eclipses even the historic greats of women’s speed skating.

Her on-ice accomplishments ensure that she stands up to the likes of 13-time Olympic medallist Eric Heiden, six-time Olympic champion Lidiya Skoblikova and Clara Hughes, who famously competed at both the Summer and Winter Games.

Such has been her impact on the sport, that Leerdam has been dubbed the ‘modern ice queen’ ahead of Milano-Cortina.

Jutta Leerdam praised for ‘spotlight’ she puts on speed skating

Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT, former Olympic speed skater Alexandra Ianculescu opened up on the attention that Leerdam has brought to a once-niche winter sport.

“I think she’s an incredible athlete. She’s an incredible person and she has a crazy lifestyle. That’s so awesome, because speed skating is such a small sport,” Ianculescu, who will be in the commentary booth for this year’s competition, said.

“With Jutta now being in the picture, and of course with Jake Paul, it just brings so much more attention and it’s so cool because it shows that we can live different lives.

“We’re not just the ‘latex turning left’ — there’s more to showcase and I think she’s one of the strongest athletes on the circuit.

“She’s capable to anything she puts her mind to, her focus is insane and she literally can achieve anything she wants.”

Ianculescu added that boxer Paul has helped bring a new audience to speed skating with his public support for Leerdam, and that the couple have helped change the public’s perception of speed skating.

“I love it because she’s the modern ice queen,” Ianculescu continued, praising Leerdam.

“What a great example for young women. She’s in the spotlight and it’s in such a positive way, where she normalizes our sport and how to be a human too.

“She’s not untouchable. You could see her signing autographs for kids, she actually she has her own world. It’s actually that she’s not Jake Paul’s girlfriend.

“She is Jutta Leerdam and it’s super nice to see that we have that spotlight on us now because we’ve always been there.

“But now people, they don’t ask me, ‘Oh you figure skate?’ and I’m like, ‘No, speed skating.’ Mow they know what speed skating is. So I love it.”

Ianculescu is one of a growing number of athletes sponsored by OnlyFans.

She uses the website to connect with her fans on a deeper level than other social media platforms allow, and will offer fans a behind-the-scenes look at her experience of Milano-Cortina.

The Romanian-Canadian skater, who competed at the PyeongChang Games in 2018, also revealed she would like to see Leerdam on OnlyFans one day.

“I have such an amazing opportunity right now, especially with the Olympics, to show the behind-the-scenes… and I wish I had that in 2018 when I was competing,” Ianculescu revealed.

“This is made for fans — if you want to see it, come and see it. Everything that you wish you saw in newspapers, but can’t see, I’m going to (show that).

“With OnlyFans, I know people want to be there to talk to me and I’m there to talk to them.

“It’s just such a nice and positive experience, opposed to other social media platforms, where it’s so easy to hide behind the screen and make negative comments.”

Ianculescu went on to reveal she would like to see Leerdam join her on OnlyFans for a closer look into her life, and her preparations for chasing gold in Milan.

“Jutta would actually be one of the cool people to see on OnlyFans, if that ever is possible,” she continued.

“Even I, as a speed skater, wants to see nowadays how they train and what they do.

“She will probably medal (in Milan). It would be cool to see how she thinks, or what she does.

“I kind of know because I know her a little bit and we see her all the time. But it’d be cool for people that only know her as Jutta, or ‘Jake’s girlfriend’, which she’s not she’s her own person.

“It would be nice to see how she actually thinks and how she does her own personal stuff.”

Leerdam, of course, will be fully focused on bringing home gold at the Winter Olympics.

But she is a social media star away from the ice, and that profile would no doubt make OnlyFans a highly lucrative opportunity, should she wish to explore it.
