Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua: Date, UK start time, undercard, rules and where to watch heavyweight clash
Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua are set to face off in a blockbuster bout in Miami later this month.
The Youtuber-turned-boxer is set fight his toughest opponent yet as he pens a deal with Joshua.

Paul has only suffered one loss in his professional career and is out to add ‘AJ’ to the list of opponents he has conquered.
Despite the disparity in both experience and talent between the rivals, the American is confident that he can prove doubters wrong.
While Paul may boast more recent activity, Joshua has shared the ring with some of the greatest heavyweight contenders across his career.
The two-time heavyweight champion was trying to rebuild his career back to world title contention before his 15-month hiatus, and now returns to fight Paul.
As Joshua makes his first appearance since being knocked out by Daniel Dubois in September 2024, he will be keen to put on a show here.

Contested over eight three-minute rounds, both men will use 10oz gloves.
Joshua will have to weigh-in under 245lbs in order to action the bout.

Paul vs Joshua: What has been said?
Paul said: “This isn’t an AI simulation. This is Judgement Day.
“A professional heavyweight fight against an elite world champion in his prime. When I beat Anthony Joshua, every doubt disappears, and no one can deny me the opportunity to fight for a world title.
“To all my haters, this is what you wanted. To the people of the United Kingdom, I am sorry.
“On Friday, December 19, under the lights in Miami, live globally only on Netflix, the torch gets passed and Britain’s Goliath gets put to sleep.”
Joshua addressed the decision: “Jake or anyone can get this work. No mercy.

“I took some time out and I’m coming back with a mega show. It’s a big opportunity for me.
“Whether you like it or not, I’m here to do massive numbers, have big fights and break every record whilst keeping cool, calm and collected.
“Mark my words, you’ll see a lot more fighters take these opportunities in the future. I’m about to break the internet over Jake Paul’s face.”
Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, said: “They say be careful what you wish for, kind of feel like that’s all I need to say.
“Two of the biggest names in the sport will collide on Dec 19. Whilst I admire Jake’s balls, he’s going to find out the hard way in Miami.”
