ITV Racing Tips and Previews (Saturday 28th March 2026)

The Flat is back on ITV Racing on Saturday with the Lincoln taking centre stage from Doncaster! We also have the Brocklesby, the Spring Mile plus Listed action on the AW at Kempton.

The end of the Jumps and start of the Flat is always notoriously tricky from a punting perspective but what that does mean is there can be some big prices that go in. Looking away from the obvious often ends up paying handsomely!

I have gone through all 8 races live on ITV Racing on Saturday and I’ve included main dangers to my selections too.

Profit and Loss will be calculated to level stakes (WIN – 1 point, EACH WAY – 1 point each way) and this will be shared weekly going forward.

Joe’s best horse racing betting tips for ITV Racing (28th March)

Find my top tips for Saturday 28th March 2026 racing with odds from the best horse racing bookies below:

Doncaster 1.20 William Hill Bill Turner Memorial EBF Brocklesby Stakes (A Novice Stakes) Class 2 5f

Blixen Force is feared as Amo Racing target the Brocklesby and he looks to be their best chance this year for Robson Aguiar. At 2/1 though he offers little value and I’m siding with Richard Hannon who took this 12 months ago with Norman’s Cay.

A BEAR AFFAIR certainly looks the part on paper being by Kodi Bear and he holds some eye-catching entries including the big sales race at Newmarket in August. He should be forward enough to do himself justice and at 6/1 can be backed each way in an open race.

Obviously none of these 2yos have run before so it is always a bit of a guessing game. Plenty of dangers possibly headed by Dance A Jig for Ralph Beckett.

This colt by Naval Crown didn’t come cheap and could be capable of landing a blow first time out. Ocean Club is a stablemate to the favourite and is another one who could be capable of getting involved in the Amo Racing silks.

🏇 Bet on A BEAR AFFAIR each way at 6/1 with Ladbrokes 🏇

Doncaster 1.50 William Hill Price Boosts Every Day Cammidge Trophy Stakes (Listed) Class 1 6f2y

Spycatcher took this last year and has to be feared but he is another year older and is probably better on softer ground. He should run well but he is towards the top of the market so little value in his price.

JASOUR often shapes like he wants further than 6f but he has won fresh in the past and if he manages to keep tabs on them early he could be a big player here. He is plenty talented and Clive Cox often has his horses fairly forward. He is still lightly raced for his age and I can see him running a big race here.

Of those not mentioned Montassib likes this track and is definitely capable of getting involved. He was behind Spycatcher when last seen and is another one who has won fresh in the past so should get competitive.

James’s Delight lost his way towards the end of last season but this better ground will suit and he could go better than his price suggests at least.

🏇 Bet on JASOUR each way at 6/1 with Sky Bet 🏇

Kempton 2.08 Virgin Bet Queen’s Prize Handicap Class 2 1m7f218y

I can see the two four-year-olds battling this one out. BELGRAVIAN was progressive last season before being highly tried in the Cesarewitch on final outing.

He ran well to finish seventh and still has untapped potential this season. He is obviously unexposed especially over two miles and if fit and ready to roll off the break could serve it up to these as this looks a good starting point.

Anniversary has a run under his belt having finished fifth at Lingfield last month. The fourth Brasil Power has won since so the form has already been boosted and he is extremely lightly raced having only had the 6 starts so I expect him to improve and run well.

Of the rest Blindedbythelights was knocking on the door towards the end of last season and should give his running again here.

🏇 Bet on BELGRAVIAN to win at 7/2 with Sky Bet 🏇

Doncaster 2.25 William Hill Epic Boosts Spring Mile Handicap Class 2 1m (Straight)

The Spring Mile is always wide open and it looks no different this year. Several of these have major claims but the one I’ve come down on is CARRON for George Boughey.

This 4yo ran well behind Tailgunner Joe in Meydan and then was heavily punted to get back to winning ways at Newcastle last time. He has fitness on side and looks on an upward curve so with Jack Callan good value for his 5lb claim I expect him to be bang there.

Boughey also has Classic Encounter who I can see getting involved too at a bigger price. Mezcala is likely to go off favourite for Jack Channon and he should relish this straight mile so will be involved. Pressure’s On would be interesting if taking his chance having run well the last twice and at even bigger odds appeals as well.

🏇 Bet on CARRON each way at 15/2 with BoyleSports 🏇

Kempton 2.43 Virgin Bet A Good Bet Rosebery Handicap Class 2 1m2f219y

This is arguably the toughest race of the day on ITV Racing on Saturday but it could be worth chancing MARHABA GHAIYYATH to get back to his best.

He looked a horse going places winning at Redcar last season and while his form somewhat tailed off he looks a horse to catch early on in the season and down 2lb in slightly calmer waters he could run a big race under Callum Shepherd.

Whitcombe Rockstar is on a real roll arriving on a hat-trick and he shouldn’t be underestimated despite a further rise in the weights. Respond is obviously the flashy one having won readily at Chelmsford but the 8lb rise does look a little concerning as this is tougher.

El Burhan could end up going off favourite as he impressed at Ayr on final start and Boughey is in great form and this horse should have a fair bit more to come.

🏇 Bet on MARHABA GHAIYYATH each way at 7/1 with bet365 🏇

Doncaster 3.00 William Hill Doncaster Mile Stakes (Listed) Class 1 1m (Straight)

This race very much revolves around DOCKLANDS and I expect him to take a lot of beating for Harry Eustace. A straight mile really suits him well as we saw when he beat Rosallion at Ascot last season.

He doesn’t know how to run a bad race and his form just looks head and shoulders above these. He has run well fresh multiple times in the past so the lack of a run doesn’t bother me and I expect his class to tell here.

Qirat will look to blast off the front and try and make all. I actually think that will help the selection as he will have time to settle before looking to finish strong.

Volterra has the potential to progress again this season and ran well on his final two starts so might even be the one to ask the most questions of the selection.

🏇 Bet on DOCKLANDS to win at 6/4 with BoyleSports 🏇

Kempton 3.15 Virgin Bet Snowdrop Fillies’ Stakes (Listed) Class 1 1m

I’m hoping it will be a good day for George Boughey as he also has SURVIE here who looks to have a major shout. This mare by Churchill impressed making a winning start for this yard at Lingfield and then bumped into Royal Champion and Facteur Cheval at Riyadh in the Neom Turf Cup.

She has already reached a very useful level of form and is expected to have too much for this field.

Cathedral represents Amo Racing and remains unexposed after just eight career starts. She ran well finishing fourth at 50/1 at the Breeders’ Cup when last seen and if kicking on again this season could be dangerous.

Glittering Surf was never put in the race on final outing at Ascot but had looked promising prior to that and could be capable of better this season so she is one to watch out for at a bigger price.

🏇 Bet on SURVIE to win at 6/4 with Ladbrokes 🏇

Doncaster 3.35 William Hill Lincoln (Heritage Handicap) Class 2 1m (Straight)

I try not to be too bullish in this race as we are obviously at the start of the season but LA BOTTE looks a standout to me and I can see him being a bit of a gamble come post time.

This colt by Too Darn Hot has only had a handful of starts but he was asked to go last to first in the trial for this race at Wolverhampton and ended up being a huge eye-catcher. He swung so wide off the turn for home and was closing fast at the line.

He is clearly well handicapped and this straight mile is going to prove ideal so I’ll be amazed if he doesn’t go close under Jamie Spencer.

Eternal Force was on a steep upward curve last season landing the hat-trick in good style at Haydock. He can do better and looks a serious danger to the selection despite going up 8lb.

Shout looked good on penultimate start and then was only beaten a couple of lengths on final outing behind Crown Of Oaks which is decent form. Anno Domini can do better too and has Toby Moore claiming 7lb so in terms of an each way saver he appeals most.

🏇 Bet on LA BOTTE to win at 4/1 with BoyleSports 🏇

My top tip for ITV Racing on Saturday

A mouthwatering Saturday to kick off the Flat season and my best two bets run in the Doncaster Mile in the shape of DOCKLANDS for Harry Eustace andin the Snowdrop Fillies’ Stakes SURVIE for George Boughey. Both look to have a class edge over their fields and should prove hard to beat.

I’d advise taking the early price about the double as I can see both getting backed.

🏇 Bet a Win Double on DOCKLANDS and SURVIE at 11/2 with bet365 🏇
