‘I have nothing left’ – Luke Littler one win away from career Slam as he confirms Luke Humphries partnership
Luke Littler has won the World Masters for the first time after withstanding a fightback from Luke Humphries.
The world no.1 is now the current holder of eight of the nine PDC premier events.

Littler is also just one title away from completing the career Grand Slam at just 19 years old.
The Nuke had raced into a 3-1 lead in the best of 11 sets final before Humphries won four of the next five sets.
It came after Littler had survived match darts in his semi-final win over Gerwyn Price earlier on Sunday evening.
However, he was once again able to rally as he sent the match to a deciding set.
The teenager then held his nerve to close the door on Cool Hand as he wrapped up a 6-5 victory.
Littler now has 11 PDC premier event wins to his name in just over two years as a professional.
In doing so, he has pulled level with James Wade for the third-most in PDC history.
It also leaves the European Championship as the only ranked major he has yet to win.
Speaking on stage after lifting the trophy, Littler admitted: “I’m shattered, absolutely knackered.
“Going into the last break at 5-4, I said I have nothing left, absolutely nothing, but I just managed to dig deep. I was fully focused and managed to get the job done.

“It has been a weird week and tough at times but this is why we battle every game and every leg, and I’ve come out victorious.
“It has been me and Luke in the first major of the year and I’m sure it will continue.”
Littler eyes World Cup revenge
As well as the European Championship, Littler is also yet to win the World Cup of Darts after his shock exit alongside Humphries last summer.
However, he confirmed the pair will be going for glory in Germany once again in June in a bid to add another title to his tally.
When asked what is next for him, Littler added: “This is one I didn’t have hold of but now I have hold of it and now there is only one left.
“Some may say two with the World Cup but I’ll go with Luke [Humphries] and try and win that.

“I can’t concentrate on Dortmund (for European Championship) too much yet, I’ve still got to qualify for the Euro Tours, but next up is the Premier League.”
England had been defending champions at the 2025 World Cup of Darts after Humphries’ win alongside Michael Smith the previous year.
However, Littler and Humphries were knocked out in their opening match by Germany’s Martin Schindler and Ricardo Pietreczko.
As for the European Championship, Gian van Veen will be the defending champion in October.
Littler’s best performance at the event so far saw him reach the last 16 last year before losing to Wade.
When does Littler play next?
Littler will be back in action in just four days’ time as the Premier League returns.
The 2024 winner faces Gian van Veen in the quarter-finals on night one at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle on Thursday.
Having won the tournament on debut two years ago, Littler will be eyeing a second Premier League title this time around.
Despite picking up a record six nightly wins, he was ultimately beaten by Humphries in the final at the O2 Arena in May.
