‘Highly sought after’ – Tom Brady’s teenage son wows social media with starring role in sport but it’s not football
Athleticism runs in the Brady family.
Just over a week after his niece was drafted first overall in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League, Tom Brady‘s son – Jack Moynahan – has shown off his basketball skills.
Standing 6-foot-6 the forward for Riverdale School had his scoring ability in the paint, along with some defensive highlights displayed in the video.
“Tom Brady’s son, Jack Moynahan, is a HOOPER,” Overtime wrote on X in a video that has since received over 3.9 million views.
Fans in the comments had praise for Moynahan, who took the last name of his mother and Brady’s former partner, Bridget Moynahan.
“This is pure 1980s game. Gotta love it,” one fan wrote in the comments.
“Already better than Bronny,” another fan said, taking aim at LeBron James‘ son and Lakers teammate Bronny James.
“Are all of Brady’s children genetic freaks?” a third said.
Moynahan is a highly rated prospect, as a scouting report from Riverside hailed his improvement on the court, along with his leadership.
“6’6 F Jack Moynahan from Riverdale School. Jack has turned himself into a highly sought after prospect. His learning curve for the game is impressive” the report begins.
“The progression of reading the floor as a passer, making smarter cuts, and understanding spacing has been substantial. Jack has shot the ball well from the perimeter all season. Jack was good for 11ppg, 7rpg throughout our HGAL run, shooting over 50% from the field and slightly under from 3.
“As Jack continues to grow more in height, strength, and IQ … watch out! He also has leadership in his DNA and we heard him oftentimes leading huddles for our team in July, motivating and holding guys accountable. Jack always looks people in the eyes.
“He’s the type of player that motivates me as a coach to be my best and give him everything I have. Excited to be a part of Jack’s continuing development!”
Moynahan has already hooked up with New York Knicks star Karl Anthony Towns who posted a picture of Brady, himself and the 18-year-old.
“Next time we’re running routes?” Towns, 30, captioned the post, tagging the seven-time Super Bowl champion.
Some of the other pictures in the post include Moynahan dribbling and dunking.
Moynahan was born in August 2007 after his mom, Bridget, and Brady split in 2006.
Brady has two more children, Benjamin Rein and Vivian Lake, with his now ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.
