Godzilla hits the track with Haas at F1 Japanese Grand Prix

Last week we shared the news that Godzilla will be joining Haas at the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix, sharing the logo the team will use in partnership with the legendary character.

Now we know what that will look like on the track.

Tuesday TGR Haas F1 Team shared their spectacular livery for this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix, featuring the new Godzilla logo prominently on the team’s VF-26. The paint scheme remains red, black, and white, but the livery features the “King of Monsters” on the engine cover, a stunning edition to the team’s livery:

In addition to the Japanese Grand Prix, Haas will also feature the collaboration during the United States Grand Prix in October, ahead of the U.S. theatrical release of Godzilla Minus Zero. That movie arrives in theaters on November 6.

Announcing the new logo last week, team principal Ayao Komatsu said it was an “honor” to bring Godzilla to the sport.

“This is truly an extraordinary opportunity to showcase our brand to new audiences, and it’s a first for both TGR Haas F1 Team and TOHO,” said Komatsu. “It’s an honor to bring a global icon such as Godzilla to this sport and activate across an important year for the franchise. We want our fanbases to combine and celebrate with us, as there will be lots to engage with this season.”

Haas has gotten off to a strong start to the 2026 F1 season, thanks to young driver Oliver Bearman. His 17 points have put the team into fourth place after just two race weekends.

And now they have Godzilla on their side, literally and figuratively.
