Full Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano undercard revealed as former UFC fighter completes Netflix show

The full undercard for Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano has been announced.

Rousey, the first-ever women’s UFC champion, is set to end a nearly ten-year hiatus from the cage against MMA trailblazer Gina Carano on May 16.

The pair are set to have it out over five five-minute rounds at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, as the headliner for Netflix’s first-ever MMA show.

Earlier this month, the event promoted by Jake Paul‘s Most Valuable Promotions added eight fights to the bill, with former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos booked to make his return.

However, the Netflix show that features MMA’s biggest names, such as Francis Ngannou and Nate Diaz, still had one more spot to fill.

And this week, MVP revealed former UFC fighter Brandon Jenkins had been added to the card to complete the full 11-fight lineup.

Full Rousey vs Carano undercard

Jenkins faces Diaz’s teammate and fellow American Chris Avila in the opening fight of the night, before Alex Pereira’s sister Aline Pereira takes on Canadian Jade Masson-Wong.

The card continues with a featherweight bout between 21-year-old David Mgoyan and California’s own Albert Morales, with
Namo Fazil vs Jake Babian and Lorenz Larkin vs Jason Jackson concluding the opening fights of the event.

In an early fight of the night contender, Briton Muhammad Mokaev, who was cut from the UFC undefeated, then takes on former three-time ONE flyweight champion Adriano Moraes.

The giants come out to play after that, as dos Santos contests his first MMA bout since 2022 against Cuban Karate Combat veteran Robelis Despaigne.

Moving up the card, ex-KSW double champion Salahdine Parnasse, who was once labelled the ‘Kylian Mbappe of French MMA’, faces Kenny Cross at lightweight.

Then, the big hitters feature, with Ngannou, Diaz and Rousey all making epic returns to MMA at the top of the bill.

Diaz, who had talks with the UFC before signing with MVP, fights fellow MMA veteran and ex-BKFC champion Mike Perry in what is set to be one of the most violent fights of the night.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou is booked to face Brazilian Philipe Lins, who won the $1million PFL heavyweight tournament in 2018, before the grand finale of Rousey vs Carano.

MVP going big for Netflix MMA show

MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian believes the Netflix show is giving ‘hardcore fans fights to feast on.’

“Dos Santos is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and a Brazilian icon, Salahdine Parnasse is France’s brightest MMA star, Mokaev is one of the best in the sport and Larkin vs Jackson is everything you want in a matchup. 

“Alongside other exciting fighters from around the world, these fights make the card even bigger and reflect the true global scale of the sport.

“We are continuing to prove that MVP and Netflix can create blockbuster live experiences that bring together fans and fighters from everywhere to create the biggest nights in sport.”

MVP debuts in the UK this weekend through Caroline Dubois vs Terri Harper.

The promotion then heads to New York on April 17 for Alycia Baumgardner vs Bo Me Re Shin, before Rousey vs Carano and Stephanie Han vs Holly Holm 2 in Texas.
