Fulham v Crystal Palace prediction

Fulham head into Sunday afternoon London’s derby as slight favourites for victory despite sitting 10 places lower down the Premier League table than their opponents ahead of the weekend’s action.

Marco Silva’s side will be looking to get back to winning ways on Sunday after coming up just short in a 5-4 thriller against Manchester City on Tuesday night, in which the Portuguese manager’s side come back from 5-1 down to almost secure a memorable comeback.

Following Tuesday’s home defeat the Cottagers currently sit 15th in the table, four points off the top half and five points clear of the relegation zone ahead of what could prove to be crucial part of the season as we approach the festive period.

The west London side have only lost two of their nine matches at Craven Cottage in all competitions this season, with those only two defeats coming against the current top two sides in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace will make the short trip to Craven Cottage in confident mood having got back to winning ways on Wednesday night with a 1-0 victory away at Burnley, which has seen them climb up to fifth in the Premier League table.

Oliver Glasner’s side head into the weekend currently just one point behind fourth placed Chelsea in the table, and will know the Blues’ weekend result by the time they kick off on Sunday which could pose them a huge opportunity to break into the top four.

No team has won more games away from home in the Premier League this season than the Eagles, who also boast the best defensive record from matches on the road in the league, conceding just four in their seven games so far.

Palace are unbeaten in five of their last six matches against Fulham, a run which includes wins in each of their last two meetings, both coming at Craven Cottage, and without conceding in either.

I think that trend may continue into Saturday, with Palace maintaining their stellar record away from home, I envisage a 2-0 away win on the cards.

Fulham v Crystal Palace betting tips

Derby delight for soaring Eagles

Crystal Palace climbed into fifth place in the Premier League table on Wednesday night, 10 places higher than Fulham ahead of Sunday’s game at Craven Cottage, where the Eagles have already won twice in 2025, by 2-0 and 3-0 scorelines.

Glasner’s side have the joint-most wins and fewest goals conceded away from home in the Premier League this season ahead of their trip to west London to take on a Fulham side who conceded five at home in midweek.

Mateta the man again

Only two players have scored more Premier League goals this season than Jean-Philippe Mateta, the Palace striker is one goal away from double figures for the campaign in all competitions, and has three times as many goals as Fulham’s top scorer.

Sasa sanctioned

No player on either team has received more yellow cards this season than Fulham midfielder Sasa Lukic, the Serbian having been cautioned on five occasions.
