Arsenal are the runaway Premier League leaders at the moment, with Mikel Arteta’s side boasting a six point lead at the top of the league as they seek a first league title in 22 years, but are only priced as second favourites to lift the FA Cup at Wembley in May.

The Gunners are the most successful team in the competition’s history, but haven’t had a great time of the old national football competition in the world in recent years, never making it beyond round four of the FA Cup since they last lifted the Cup in 2020.

Arteta’s men defeated Championship side Portsmouth 4-1 on Sunday to reach the fourth round of this season’s competition, which will see them take on League One side Wigan for a place in the last 16.

Chelsea and Liverpool also won big against lower league opposition, triumphing 5-1 and 4-1 against Charlton and Barnsley respectively, and are each priced as the third and fourth favourites for victory at 6/1 and 7/1.

Only one non-league side remain in the competition at the fourth round side after National League North side Macclesfield pulled off the biggest FA Cup upset by league position in history by knocking out defending champions Crystal Palace on Saturday lunchtime.

The Silkmen, managed by John Rooney, younger brother of Wayne, are priced at 2,000/1 to lift the trophy this season, and have been drawn at home against Premier League opposition once again in round four, this time taking on Brentford.
