FA Cup fourth round draw LIVE: Start time, ball numbers and how to follow as Arsenal, Liverpool and Macclesfield await next opponents

One of the greatest weekends on the football calendar did not disappoint as the third round of the FA Cup took centre-stage.

This is the part of the competition where all of the Premier League and Championship sides join the remaining League One, Two and non-league teams in the world’s most famous cup competition.

And as soon as the third round is over, all of the remaining teams will be thinking about who they will be facing next.

One team who won’t be in the hat are the holders Crystal Palace after they were dumped out by National League North side Macclesfield FC in one of the great FA Cup shocks.

Elsewhere, Manchester United crashed out after a loss to Brighton at Old Trafford marked a new low for the club.

Everton and Tottenham also went out but the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea have made it through to the next round.

FA Cup fourth round draw: Date and start time

The draw for the FA Cup fourth round will take place on Monday, January 12.

It will be held at 6:35pm ahead of the final third round game between Liverpool and Barnsley.

Steven Gerrard and Joe Cole will be drawing the balls from the hat.
