Everton are having a great run against the Bees but they couldn’t be much closer in the table coming into this game though.

The Toffees are unbeaten in their last six, winning three and drawing three.

And Brentford have been unable to score in their last three trips to face Everton, proving a difficult away clash each time in recent seasons.

Everton have been great at keeping clean sheets and it’s finally starting to work for them in attack which sees them spring up to eighth in the table.

They need to start scoring more though, if they do they stand a great chance of even threatening the top six, although it’s incredibly close between 5th and 15th with just seven points in it.

Any team who goes on a brief losing spell or winning spell can climb eight places in the matter of a couple of weeks.

Everton are unlikely to do so and with the recent fixtures in the Premier League ending 0-0 it might be wise to see Brentford fail to score again and get stuck facing the Toffees.

Goalscorers?

It’s always tempting to bet on the likes of Jack Grealish, Beto or Iliman Ndiaye.

But given Everton’s lack of goals they really can come from anywhere.

Grealish hasn’t had many goal involvements since his flurry of them at the start of the season.

But they should still be able to get on the scoresheet, they hit five past Nottingham Forest this season in the space of a month.

They failed to score against Chelsea, Arsenal and Burnley between then, so it would also be wise to bet on over/under goals.
