EFL Cup final betting offer: Get 50/1 on a goal to be scored with Sky Bet (Arsenal vs Man City)

The EFL Cup final takes place on Sunday afternoon, with Arsenal and Manchester City going head to head at Wembley Stadium, contesting for the first piece of major silverware of the season.

Sky Bet are offering new customers massive boosted odds of 50/1 for a goal to be scored in Sunday afternoon’s blockbuster EFL Cup final, an offer which can be claimed by following this link*.

Arsenal head into Sunday afternoon’s Carabao Cup final as favourites for victory due to being the team in much the better form in recent weeks.

Mikel Arteta’s side will make the trip to Wembley having won six of their last seven games in all competitions, most recently winning 2-0 against a Bayer Leverkusen side who had lost just one in 14, to progress into the quarter finals of the Champions League for the third season in succession.

The Gunners have won each of their last five matches in domestic competitions, including four on the spin in the Premier League, a run which has seen them open up a nine point lead at the top of the table, albeit having played a game more than the teams below them.

The north London side are very much in the running for an unprecedented quadruple of trophies this season, nine points clear in the league as they chase a first league title in 22 years, and current favourites to win each of the Champions League and FA Cup, as well as Sunday’s bout.

Arsenal haven’t had much success in the EFL Cup in recent history, not having won the competition since 1993, and haven’t won a major trophy (excluding the Community Shield) since their FA Cup triumph six years ago.

Confidence will be low in the Manchester City camp heading into Sunday’s final having won only one of their last five matches in all competitions, losing two of their last three.

Pep Guardiola’s side suffered a chastening defeat against Real Madrid on Tuesday night, a 2-1 home defeat on the night contributing towards a 5-1 loss over two legs, which saw them exit the Champions League at the last 16 stage.

In the league, the Cityzens have dropped points in each of their last two matches, both games against teams they’d very much have expected to get the better of, with Nottingham Forest and West Ham currently in the bottom four, particularly if they have aspirations for the title.

With the Premier League seemingly slipping away, and the Champions League now out of reach, Sunday’s final could be their best chance of a first major tournament in two years, with a tricky FA Cup quarter final against Liverpool to come in a fortnight’s time.

Arsenal are unbeaten in their last six matches against Manchester City in all competitions, through three of the last four meetings have ended in a draw, which could suggest extra time and possibly even penalties could be on the cards on Sunday afternoon.
