Drake stomachs eye-watering losses on bold Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua bet
Drake has burned through six figures on the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight.
The Canadian rapper bet $200,000 on Paul to get the improbable win.

If the wager had come off, Drake would have pocketed a healthy return of $1.64million.
However, Joshua knocked out Paul sixth round, much to the dismay of Drake, who has had a poor track record when it comes to sports betting.
His heavy losses have led to an internet theory being named after him – ‘The Drake Curse’.
What is the Drake Curse
The theory states that anyone Drake bets on or even hangs out with is jinxed into losing.
In 2019, Joshua was on the receiving end of the curse when he was snapped with Drake days before his fight with Jarrell Miller was cancelled due to multiple failed drug tests.
Things got even worse when Andy Ruiz Jr stepped in on short notice and scored a stunning knockout victory over Joshua to snatch the unified WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles.
Before the fight, Joshua even joked that he had banned Drake from being backstage with him due to the superstition.
Speaking to ESPN about whether he would invite Drake into his dressing room, Joshua said: “I know I shouldn’t.
“You know about the Drake curse? It’s real, though.
“This is what I’m saying, what’s weird, though, is I took a picture with Drake.

“We took it before (Jarrell) Miller got banned.
“Miller then had a drug test and got popped. The fight got cancelled!”
What happened in the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua fight?
While some internet users may blame Drake for Paul’s defeat, the reality is that he was never good enough to beat Joshua.
Paul did admirably well to get back to his feet three times before the eventual finish, although his performance left a lot to be desired.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer spent four rounds running away from Joshua before he was eventually dropped by a left hook.
Three clean right hands then led to his demise.
