Donovan Mitchell shares special moment with Coco Jones after historic Game 4 win vs. Pistons

The Cleveland Cavaliers witnessed NBA Playoffs history out of Donovan Mitchell Monday night. Mitchell tied franchise legends LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in dropping 21 points during a single quarter. But the most tender moment involved R&B star Coco Jones and “Spida.”

The NBA All-Star went straight to the hit singer first for this warm embrace following the 112-103 Cavs win.

The couple have been engaged since July 2025. Mitchell himself has been open about his relationship with the famed 2024 Grammy winner. Including revealing that the songstress loves the city.

“I love Cleveland,” Mitchell said during an April 16 interview with reporters. “I’ve said it before: I want to play here for as long as I can…My fiancée feels good about it.”

Mitchell and Jones have become one of the NBA’s top power couples, especially during the postseason. The woman behind the hits “ICU” and “Here we go” got to see her future husband go off on the Eastern Conference’s top seed to even the series 2-2.

Mitchell hit an astonishing 39 points during the second half outside of the 21-point outburst. He set the tone by delivering his own 8-0 run at one point.

Cleveland ensured that its very much alive and kicking in the postseason. The Cavs erased a 2-0 deficit to take this matchup back to Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday.

Mitchell needed to dive back into his past stellar postseason form to keep Cleveland’s NBA Finals hopes alive. He likely just realtered Jones’ personal schedule to include watching more playoff basketball to support her man.
