Dana White dismisses Ronda Rousey vs Katie Taylor in glowing review of former UFC champion
Talk of Ronda Rousey making a spectacular combat sports return to box Katie Taylor is ‘total bulls***.’
That’s according to UFC CEO Dana White, who has definitively denied Rousey fighting Taylor while praising his former UFC women’s bantamweight champion.

A report earlier this month suggested that Rousey, 38, was discussing a blockbuster boxing clash with undisputed super lightweight champion Taylor.
Taylor, 39, later said she was ‘very open’ to sharing the ring with MMA great Rousey, but admitted it was the first time she had heard about the fight upon reading the reports.
Members of the MMA fraternity were sceptical about Rousey stepping into the squared circle, as ‘Rowdy’ was never known for her striking abilities during her illustrious three-year UFC career.
Well, White has suggested that those fans have nothing to worry about, as, according to him, the potential matchup is nothing but rumours.
Dana White: Great Ronda Rousey isn’t fighting Katie Taylor
“Total bulls***,” White told the media during UFC 323‘s post-fight press conference when asked about what he thought about Rousey vs Taylor.
The 56-year-old then responded ‘no’ to a question on whether Rousey was in talks to make a UFC comeback.
“That’s up to her,” he added, speaking on ‘Rowdy’ returning to combat sports.
“Personally, I cannot say enough good things about Ronda Rousey.
“When she was going to the WWE, the WWE called me to ask [about her].
“I said, ‘I’m telling you right now, she’ll be the greatest athlete you ever worked with over there.

“I can’t say enough good things about her. She was great when she was here.”
Rousey has sparked rumours about her return this year with footage of her back in training following the birth of her second child.
Some fans thought she could be lining up a comeback to fight at the UFC White House card.
However, speaking in September, Rousey confirmed she would not appear at the White House, no matter how much money she was offered.
Rousey’s combat sports career ended prematurely due to concussion concerns, so it’s unlikely fans will ever see her fight again.
