The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are back!

Netflix released the season 3 trailer for America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on Tuesday, June 2, which follows women trying out for the coveted position as well as behind-the-scenes moments.

“This season follows the 2025–26 squad from high-pressure auditions and training camp all the way through the NFL season, continuing to offer candid, behind-the-scenes access to one of sports’ most iconic teams,” the synopsis reads. “With thirty veterans returning to auditions, only six coveted spots remain for hopeful newcomers, raising the bar for talent.”

“As the DCC’s global profile grows, the women at the center of it must handle a new level of attention. With incredible opportunities—the first DCC tour, marquee appearances, and growing social media platforms—comes heightened scrutiny and demand for perfection. Against the backdrop of stadium performances and viral moments, the team leans on each other to navigate the spotlight and define their DCC legacies.”

The third installation of the show follows the first two seasons, which captivated audiences. The first season of “America’s Sweethearts” garnered 2.3 million views in its first four days on Netflix and reached the Top 10 in 27 countries; Season 2 launched with 3.3 million views and reached the top 10 in 20 countries, according to Variety.

The popularity of the show has also expanded to fans trying out to become a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

“This is the first time we are viewing applications because of seeing Netflix’s ‘America Sweethearts,’” longtime DCC senior director, Kelli Finglass, says in the trailer. She and head choreographer Judy Trammell have been leading the squad for decades but since the Netflix show, they’ve received an influx of applications from elite performers from all over the world.

In the first two seasons, fans were able to get a backstage look into the glitz and glam of being a DCC but also the hardships. A major plot point in season two were the women advocating for equal pay.

Fans are ready to see what this season unfolds for the new squad.

“Don’t bother me on June 16th!! I AM SAT,” one fan responded to the trailer on Netflix’s Instagram post of the trailer.

Another fan cannot wait for the next season to be released, “With all due respect, I need this to come out now.”
