This is an intriguing match-up in the Premier League as these two are only separated by goal difference.

Neither have really stood out so far this season but Fulham are pushing and have won three in a row while Palace come into this having lost three in a row.

They now meet with the same points at a crucial time of the season for both.

A win for Palace would see them back to winning ways after a troubling spell while a Fulham win would put them right back into the conversation of a top six finish which they tried to push last season.

While Palace have drawn five this season Fulham have only seen two draws, with as many as eight losses already.

However, this looks like a game that will end at an impasse where both sides have yet to draw recently.

Palace have only conceded 20 goals in just 18 matches and they also struggle more than others around them to score more too, with 21 goals scored.

I can’t see Fulham breaking them down away from home and it’s hard to find a Palace goalscorer at this point given their goals are lacking.

Mateta clear above the rest

That is apart from Jean-Philippe Mateta who has netted seven in 18 appearances.

He’s one of the few Palace players who’s amongst the attackers anyway who gets an instant place in the starting XI.

Against Fulham he will certainly cause issues with his aerial abilities and physical presence.
